Am I being really dense here? Doesn't near enough every player swear at the ref when they get sent off? Whats so special about this case?

Rooney is always chasing refs and swearing at them

Andy Carroll and Slaven Bilic: West Ham duo avoid Football Association action

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic and striker Andy Carroll will not be charged by the Football Association over their comments about referee Jon Moss.

Bilic has been "reminded of his responsibilities" and Carroll "warned as to his future conduct" after the duo criticised Moss following the 2-2 draw with Leicester City on 17 April.

More to follow.

So i'm confused FA, what are you saying? You agree with Carroll's comment saying the referee levelled it up? If not surely you have to punish him?

As for Bilic, i'm not sure why he was questioned anyway, to me he seemed to be supporting the referee.

With this in mind, to me being almost an admittal the referee was poor, you cannot ban Vardy for an extra game, at most a fine.

Hilarious. Carroll and Bilic not charged by the FA. Surely, SURELY now Vardy can't be punished further?

Carroll literally slagged off the referee on national TV, undermining his authority.

Vardy slags off the referee, albeit with aggressive language on the football field. For me there's not that much difference.

Vardy will definitely be available for man utd game in my opinion. Plus woy wants to see how he fares against a top defender in Chris smalling

I'm absolutely amazed that Carroll hasn't got a fine for what was essentially accusing the referee of fixing the match.

If Vards is out for United now it really is fvcked. Backed by the national team manager and Gypo Andy untouched

this could work in our favour. they may agree it was bad reffing and say that even though he called him what he did he has never been sent off or booked for simulation and realise it was a just response.

cuz them 2 have got off with it then there has to be a case where the FA are seeing it was bad reffing and the heat of the moment in their interviews.

He didn't slag him off he said he fixed the game

"Evened it up"

I'm still expecting 1 match ban. He called the ref a fvcking cvnt. It's pretty straight forward...

It would be pretty straight forward if loads of other players had got a ban for swearing at the ref.Rooney must be into double figures with how many times over the last few seasons he's told the ref to fvck off

Whats so unfair is that he gets sent off, misses the next game, gets a fine and also misses another gane. 4 punishments for basically the one incident.

Twitter has it's uses (I'll finally admit that) but for the reasons above it is fucking pathetic.

I know anyone can put anything on the internet but Twitter makes it even more easier and to some even more believable.

Looks like it was us they decided to make an example of not only for swearing at the Ref but also grappling in the box.

Both are things every other team do, some prolifically. Rooney sweats in refs faces and assistant refs faces for fun, so do many others.

Why now are we penalised for both things? Odd really.

Still the result against the Seans shows that we will not be derailed.

I expect JV to be banned for Yawnited.
