49er Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Backing us all the way: Ideal scenario would be Spurs/Leicester level on points on the final day, at the Bridge it's 3-3 deep into added time at the end of game... the game at St James' has finished 2-2... Newcastle needed to win to stay up ... as it stands Spurs will win the title on goal difference... 93 minutes on the clock 30 seconds to go... Leicester win a corner and JT scores a genuine OG... Leicester win 4-3 and they're champions... JT changes into a Leicester kit and joins in with the celebrations
Benguin Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I want Andy King to score the winner at the bridge that seals the title.
AKCJ Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I want Andy King to score the winner at the bridge that seals the title. I hope he doesn't becasue i'd be a ****ing mess. Would probably cry for a solid week.
ElusiveEd Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 JT in his last ever game for Chelsea, OG to stop Spurs winning it, becomes even more of a God at CFC then hands the trophy to Claudio who's still loved by the fans. Perfect!
ARM1968 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 It would be perfect for us, them and Ranieri. It wouldn't be perfect for my ticker!!
StanSP Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I want Andy King to score the winner at the bridge that seals the title. first thing I thought of, as well. so fitting.
GaelicFox Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 first thing I thought of, as well. so fitting. Come on Beckford coming back on loan and getting the winner that would be gravy on chips LOL
stevelcfc Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Really want it doing at home in front of our own fans so we can enjoy the final day rather than having the fitting Hollywood grandstand finish.
Leicesterpool Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I want it done as soon as possible, don't think I could bare that final day battle.
Fox92 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Of course they're backing us, they won't want Spurs to win it. Dunno why we have these "xxx want us to win it" threads.
Voll Blau Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Of course they're backing us, they won't want Spurs to win it. Dunno why we have these "xxx want us to win it" threads. Love how it's always based on like one post from another team's forum too.
49er Posted 19 April 2016 Author Posted 19 April 2016 Love how it's always based on like one post from another team's forum too. More than one: Now, when it comes to Leicester, I like them. I desperately want them to win this thing (and not just because I slapped a huge bet on them to win the title just before they murdered City (great timing, eh?)). I like Ranieri. I have huge respect for the guy, and he truly deserves all this. Chelsea to throw the game to stop Spurs from winning the league, absolutely. Anything but spurs winning. Can see them sneaking it though. The only thing that would be worse is spuds to win the league and the dippers win the europa league.Cant stand either.Come on leicester Look, I think we can all agree that we'd actually prefer to see Leicester win the title rather than Spurs. Correct? So, why should we be wanting Chelsea to win against Leicester? The match is meaningless to us but could mean all the world to Leicester and Ranieri. Personally, I think it's our players DUTY to let Leicester win the title. They've given us a miserable season up to now, the least they can give us is to let us enjoy the last day of the season by stopping Spurs from winning the title. I'm not talking about total humiliation here, a couple of own goals would suffice. Actually, I don't think I have too much to worry about. Fabregas has already admitted that he doesn't want Spurs to win the title, so he obviously isn't going to be giving his all against Leicester. Would you condemn him for that? I applaud up for that First of all, the FA have to prove that you've thrown the match. So long as the players try for 90% of the time everything should be okay. That vital 10% would be enough for Leicester to win. For example, a back pass straight to Jamie Vardy. Something like that cannot be proven as match fixing. If it could, then why wasn't Steven Gerrard and Liverpool charged when he back passed to Drogba in 2010? Come on, we all know that he did that on purpose because he didn't want United winning the title. More importantly, he knew that the Liverpool fans didn't want that. He did what was necessary and (essentially) secured us the title. Let's put it this way. All of my friends who are Chelsea fans (one of them in his 40's) would rather we throw the game against Leicester rather than let dear old Spuds win the title. It's a meaningless game. I can't stand the thought of Spurs fans saying stuff like, 'Thanks for the favour Chelski.' Combine that with Claudio walking away with nothing once again and that's a nightmare scenario. Chelsea lose to Leicester to stop Spurs winning the league, I can't think of better way to celebrate my day getting pissed, come on Leicester
Callabinho Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 We will beat Swansea. Spurs will draw with WBA. We will then narrowly beat united and Spurs will lose to Chelsea...meaning it will be over before Everton and we can (if the league permits) lift the trophy at home?
Bayfox Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I want Andy King to score the winner at the bridge that seals the title. Happily take kingy scoring the goal that seals it. But please I'm not sure I can cope with the last day. Maybe Everton. Pretty please.

Whatever our result against the swans, Spurs will roll over west brom. They are far too strong for pullis' side. The Chelsea game is a different matter. London derbies - notoriously tight affairs in general. And Chelsea would love to derail the Spurs express.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Chelsea don't like Spurs, I just hope the players feel the same when they play them, and don't make it easy like Stoke did
Number 6 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 They do their job against them and hopefully our final day match is irrelevant.
Jimbo Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Would much prefer it if JT just scored a hat trick of 1st half own goals meaning we could just knock it around for 45 minutes knowing that the job was done
Benguin Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Happily take kingy scoring the goal that seals it. But please I'm not sure I can cope with the last day. Maybe Everton. Pretty please. That's the problem with fantasising about how we could win it, obviously would take a crappy but easy victory that's easier on the heart but imagine the scenes! A young talented welsh man released by the club that thought it would rule the world, the defending champions and up pops Kingy whose now leicester through and through, the champion of league 1, the champion of the championship and now with an absolute screamer the champion of England against the club who didn't want him, the club who he has taken the title from. Scenes!!!!!!
gdl9050 Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Fabregas said yesterday that he wants Leicester to win the league and that he doesn't want tottenham to win. John Terry will feel the same. If Chelsea don't appear to try last game of season or rest loads of players then expect legal action from levy
ElusiveEd Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 If Hiddink puts the new kids out on the last day then it could be a different story, they are playing for their futures under Conte and looking to impress. We'd need the older boys like JT to play.

If Chelsea don't appear to try last game of season or rest loads of players then expect legal action from levy Well I guess the FA will allow Spurs to select the team we play last game...
biggs Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 I heard Chelsea were planning to play with 8 men on the last day. Keeper bringing his Hammock to tie between the posts. The other players will be in the crowd singing We're laughing at you, Tottenham Hotspur we're laughing at you
Tuna Posted 19 April 2016 Posted 19 April 2016 Chelsea fans may want us to win it, but their players will not care less about beating us and ruining our title challenge, anyone expecting them to wave us towards the goal is silly.
