foxes_rule1978 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Very few players will ever get such an award, it is truly astonishing... His value just rocketed
lgfualol Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Ranieri is like a proud dad. So pleased for Mahrez. I hope he stays to play in the CL with us and his teammates. Is there a stream somewhere? I need to see this
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Quite frankly though, where was schlupp why was he not nominated conspiracies Would love to see him do a Ronaldo style celebration like when he won the ballon
fuchsntf Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 That is one big trophy no its a trick photo....Riyad is actually standing on top of the PL trophy, so they can see him!!!
surrifox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 "they've seen ive been great" haha yes ri you da man
ScouseFox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Is there a stream somewhere? I need to see this just a short clip on motd. someone will facebook or tweet or put it on here I'm guessing. ranieri presented the award to him. all our lads were there. usual "what does it feel like to win this award?" questions, thanked the players who voted and his teammates. all whilst looking gorgeous.
Dan Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 This is all quite surreal. Just could not stop a beaming smile on my face when he was up there with Ranieri. This isn't the Leicester I know. What's happened to the Leicester who were going all out for Cameron Stewart? He's a superb talent and one of the best we'll have. Such blatant natural ability right from the word go and he's gone from strength to strength. A player of his ability adding the goalscoring killer instinct to his game is massive. He'll play at the top level for years.
Max Power Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 When he scored that goal against Blackpool I thought 'hmm might have a player here'. Have to say I didn't expect him to be lifiting the Player of the Year award with us 8 points clear at the top of the league. Madness.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 The next world superstar, what a legend he will be
Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 So we'll win the league, Riyad will win PFA footballer of the year, Vardy should start at the Euros. This entire season has been like a joke Foxestalk post from last year, probably by @@ScouseFox
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Congrats to Riyad for receiving the PFA player of the year award, very well deserved. Like all of our XI players, you could make a case for all of them. Pleased for Vardy being in the contenders given the incredible season he's had, and still having.
weller54 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Getting non stop texts from my Spuds mates with huge congratulations....... ....... ....... ....... Not!
theessexfox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Think we're privileged to have seen him play for us for 2 and a half season, very very special talent.
ARM1968 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 5pts more max to cap a fairytale like no other. None of us could really have dreamt this. It is as insane as it is wonderful.
Larry_LCFC Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Nice to see the majority of the squad tagged along to support aswell. Atleast we can afford to hire a small fleet of helicopters
StriderHiryu Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Congrats Riyad!!! Can we get a Riyad emoticon for the forums now? First Leicester player (ever?) to win Premiership Player of the Year!!! In years to come, we will all reminisce back about the time Riyad played for us, alongside Kante, Drinkwater, Vardy, Morgan, Huth et all. He's a special talent. For bonus laughs, check the Mahrez forum threads from when were in the Championship!
Foxxed Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 "Mahrez said his Leicester team-mates deserved to take the plaudits for his success. “All the credit is for them, seriously,” he said. “And my manager and the staff. Without them I wouldn’t receive this award and I wouldn’t score. It’s the team spirit. I want to dedicate it to them."" These damn onions...
ThingsCouldGetMessi Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Congratulations to Riyad. He has been fantastic this season and totally deserves the award. Just on a side note, congratulations to Dele Alli too for winning the Young Player award. That kid is going on to very special things.
