AlgerianFox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Thank you Leicester. With all our love and respect.

antspants Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Amazing, well deserved! So pleased Vardy rewarded for that scoring record as well. It just keeps getting better and better
Bryn Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 This is a bit like when we qualified for the Champions League group stages. It's not something I ever thought I'd see in a million years and yet it's just a bit "yeah, well done". We've got bigger fish to fry, ridiculously. Seriously though, Riyad Mahrez you absolute genius. I feel so lucky to have watched you play for my team. Not for the first time, you speak for me. It's just like yeah totally saw that coming, what's next?
EastAnglianFox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Very proud! And very Foxes Talk that it's a thread about one of our own winning such a prestigious award and yet still only 2 posts in we get negativity ffs
STUHILL Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 2015/16 - Riyad Mahrez (LEICESTER) 2014/15 - Eden Hazard (Chelsea) 2013/14 - Luis Suarez (Liverpool) 2012/13 - Gareth Bale (Tottenham) 2011/12 - Robin van Persie (Arsenal) 2009/10 - Wayne Rooney (Man United) 2006/07 - Cristiano Ronaldo (Man United) 2002/03 - Thierry Henry (Arsenal) 1996/97 - Alan Shearer (Newcastle) 1985/86 - Gary Lineker (Everton) 1983/84 - Ian Rush (Liverpool) Surely the cheapest player there too at 400k, even dating back to 83/84 money (correction Rush was 300k but that is 83/83 money!) Hats of to the scouting team too
ajthefox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Doesn't even seem that bothered Can't believe he's the first African player to win it.
MC Prussian Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Are our fellow Algerian fans all asleep? One could think they'd be all over this thread! Congratulations, Riyad! Félicitations! Well deserved and great to see Vardy getting some silverware, too! This season keeps getting better and better. I'm still waiting for the moment we all wake up, realizing we've all collectively just lived through an FM session playing as Leicester.
filbertstreet Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 looks like they forgot to give him a trophy and just nicked a car exhaust instead
Jimothy Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Surely the cheapest player there too at 400k, even dating back to 83/84 money (correction Rush was 300k but that is 83/83 money!) Hats of to the scouting team too Paul McGrath was the last player to win costing £1m or less. That was in 1993 I think.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Nice to see Manish up there too! Sorry spuds but it's all leicester! Well done to mahrez for the first African player to win it! And we'll done vardy for your record breaking trophy too! One more to get this season now boys! Come on you blues!
ceredigion Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Well done Riyad. What is also fantastic will be seeing the BBC Sports Review of the Year in December when Claudio wins the Sports Personality of the Year award and Leicester City win the Team of the Year.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Seeing him there with Ranieri made me quite emotional, Ranieri looked so proud
weller54 Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Bless him he really struggling to talk ...least he's not covering the front row in Spit like Kane would have!
ScouseFox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 "they've seen ive been great" haha yes ri you da man
STUHILL Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 1. Mahrez 2. Vardy 3. Kane Wonder if it was close between Vardy and Mahrez Great that Vardy got an award for the goal record though. What an awesome day for everyone at the club
lifted*fox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Ranieri is like a proud dad. So pleased for Mahrez. I hope he stays to play in the CL with us and his teammates.
