Dan Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Not even a heat of the moment comment from me as I'm too happy with what's happened for me to get genuinely angry, but seriously, our FA are a complete and utter parody of themselves. Some serious movement needs to be made over the summer because it's so far beyond a joke now. Anyone who excuses this is a part of the problem.
lgfualol Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Really stepping up on those bans, FA. Feels like we have one every game now.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 To be fair, I don't think it's that the FA truly believe Huth's hair pulling to be as bad as Fellaini's elbowing. They have to look at each as isolated incidents, and it's really their inflexible rules that results in both players receiving 3 match bans for radically different things. Clearly, under the current rules, both players are both guilty of violent conduct. The problem is that the punishment for that offence is a flat 3 matches, with flexibility to increase it (read Dembele), but with not flexibility to decrease it.
Monsell1976 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Sky reporting he pleaded guilty, but appealed the length of the ban, which was rejected. Makes a joke of the fa, after the lack of action taken after Monday night. 3 game ban for a hair pull, dembele should recieve 8 to 10 games, but bet just 3
Captain... Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Is Fellani banned for the elbow or the slap? Fellani elbowed Huth, Huth pulled his hair, Fellani slapped him. one act of violent conduct, 2 acts of retaliation. 3 for Huth and 6 for Fellani, 3 for the elbow and 3 for the slap.

Babylon Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Unreal when you look at Monday's game... one person from both teams is going to miss games, with all the shit that went on in that. Unreal. Kyle Walker, two kick outs in two games and absolutely nothing. Lamella treading on someones hand on purpose, nothing.

They need more bans and a point deduction so they finish below Arsenal I say.
FrankieADZ Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 is anyone really surprised by this? this the FA, we know how bloody inconsistent they are, they'll probably look the other way for most of what happened on Monday night in the Chelsea Spurs game(not dembele and the after the whistle rubbish)they will such was Walker's kick out(2nd game in a row for doing it, Dier's cut throat gesture, ever though it was seen on camera, but hey ho and the way Rooney was forever moaning at the ref on Sunday(was a LCFC player it would be been up for discussion im sure) stuff like Huth's ban, I certainly dont think it was 3, all the FA has done this season is make a rod for their own back with decisions they've made.
MPH Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Dier trying to disable Hazard and Walker also flicking blood at Costa. They need more bans and a point deduction so they finish below Arsenal I say. that would be fantastic
Liamlcfc1 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Will he and Drinkwater be allowed in the trophy presentation ?
pSinatra Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Huth has been getting away with murder all season. He's usually pretty sly about it, but he likes to rough up his opponents. The FA have finally caught up with him. Whereas he could claim it was an 'accidental' elbow, or he was going for the ball, a hair pull is a hair pull & they've got him bang to rights.
foxoffderby Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Will he and Drinkwater be allowed in the trophy presentation ? JT was banned cant remember what season but joined in at the end
Liamlcfc1 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 JT was banned cant remember what season but joined in at the end That's OK then JT joins in any celebration
MrSpaM Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Will he and Drinkwater be allowed in the trophy presentation ? I'd love to see somebody try and stop them
MC Prussian Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Sad as it is, for me it would be entirely fitting to give Wasyl a start in what will probably be his last ever home game for us Yep, Marcin is bound to start against Everton and is then also likely to feature alongside Morgan for the away game at Chelsea. I think he's deserved that - been a mainstay last season and I suppose he'll be surplus to requirements comes June...
Dan Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Hold on, have they actually sorted the Monday night game? I was under the impression that was still being dealt with.

Jonezy Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Shame he is going to miss the first game of the next season (and the wankers probably gives us a shit hard away game or something...), but it can't really ruin the mood right now.... The inconsistencies are mind blowing though.... Still can't believe the 3 super soft yellow/reds we been given (in 3 pretty important and big games) compared to what went down monday night...

Gutted for him, missing the charity shield
Gio Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 A ban for Huth is fair for what he did, probably lucky to avoid other suspensions or red cards throughout the season. However, I don't know if the length of ban is fair. Elbows and punching (Alli) are far more violent acts than hair pulling. Either the number of games suspension should be increased for those acts or reduced for hair pulling. FA rules are too structured right now and different incidents need to be treated differently rather than all grouped under one rule. Under the current rules he was always going to get 3 games.
Jonezy Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Gutted for him, missing the charity shield He is not though, as it is classified as a friendly...
