queensguardfox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Screams JS to me, met a CSKA Moscow fan on holiday, they say he is stupid and not very clever. One dimensional
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 If true, strongly predict everyone on here will hate him within a couple of games
SportsNut1908 Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Have a couple of Nigeriam friends. Both say criticism from inside Nigeria is unjustified. Guy gives 100% every single game & his attitude is spot on. Hard worker & will fit in very well. Both said he'll drive us crazy. One minute Messi, next minute misses from 3 yards. Character & attributes are our 'DNA' though.... If we stay tight defensively (especially away from home) this guy can wreck teams on the counter. Just my 2 cents anyway....
Wolfox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 There's a Musa Lusa about this Husa... Come on, you were all thinking it???!!! ... I'll get my coat :-(
dbtcity Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 The couple of times I've seen him play (which is clearly nowhere near as much as 90% of people on this thread going by the hammering he's getting) he's looked quality plus Walsh and Ranieri clearly rate the lad so I'm looking forward to seeing him in a lcfc shirt
Vindaloo FOX Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 he will fit our style of play and he is only 23 with our coaching team he will for sure improve . happy with this .
dpjfox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Anyone faster than Vardy has to be a good squad addition, and remember our coaching staff improve players so any flaws will be ironed out. Was he an apprentice at Manure? , Fits other criteria eg pacy powerfull international captain

I've got a Russian friend who supports CSKA who despite his goals literally hates his guts. He says he is about as one-dimensional a player as you can get, very quick but lacks the basics, often struggles with ball control and a poor passer. Often doesn't really seem to be in control of the ball. Everything I've seen of him completely backs this up. Sickener if we are actually signing this guy. Hope it's something Walsh sees and not a last choice from a list of targets sort of signing.
dayday Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Typical Leicester fans shoot a player down before he has even signed.
chapero82 Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 If Walsh thinks he's worth it then that's good enough for me
Wolfox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Am I the only person on Foxestalk who doesn't have a Russian mate who's a seriously big CSKA Moscow fan?
ian_marshall Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 From the video's online here looks a good fit. It'll be interesting to see how he's incorporated into the side as he looks to be more of a direct replacement for Vardy so may be this potential signing is part of the clubs succession planning. From what I have seen he's clearly very quick, but also seems very brave and won't back out of a challenge, whilst looks to track back to help the team recover the ball. Also, whilst he looks fast now, imagine what he'll be like once our sports science team get to work on him and develop his explosive power, and strength.
surrifox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 If Walsh thinks he's worth it then that's good enough for meIt should be good enough for anyone but I guess that's the point of a forum Am I the only person on Foxestalk who doesn't have a Russian mate who's a seriously big CSKA Moscow fan?No
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Am I the only person on Foxestalk who doesn't have a Russian mate who's a seriously big CSKA Moscow fan? No mi duck... My mate Ivan Bofflidov is a Torpedo fan
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Am I the only person on Foxestalk who doesn't have a Russian mate who's a seriously big CSKA Moscow fan? I work for a translation company and thus work with a lot of people of different nationalities. There is also a Nigerian lad there who translates a language called Igbo into English but he doesn't follow football.
Wolfox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 There is also a Nigerian lad there who translates a language called Igbo into English but he doesn't follow football. Does he hate Musa too? I'm only pulling your chain...! But there does seem to be a lot of my mate, his mate going on... Fortunately our mate Walsh seems to like him... Time will tell...
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Musa, Simani, Mendy, Brady and Keane would people be happy with that? I think I would! The only way I can see us going for Slimani is if we sell Ulloa. Personally think we will sign Musa & Luan.

Fortunately our mate Walsh seems to like him... Time will tell... Yeah, when I wrote the post I thought that too... but have talked about this a fair bit with him recently and it's really turned me against signing Musa! However, as you say In Walsh we trust. Surely he thinks a bit of decent coaching will turn him into a Champ.
CosbehFox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Screams JS to me, met a CSKA Moscow fan on holiday, they say he is stupid and not very clever. One dimensionalI find great irony in all this over the 'stupid' comments because for me we've proved the Premier League can be won by fast, direct football. I see the likes of Sterling on the wing, stop start, fake to cross, feint again, back on his good foot and then finally a cross where the defence is reformed. The beauty of Jeff is head down, first time cross and if it gets anyway near an attacker with a disorganised defence it's good work. Rashford did it on Monday night to much acclaim when he came on.
LCCFox96 Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Even from the negative criticism he seems a sort of raw talent/rough diamond type player, not dissimilar to Vardy when he arrived (yes, I know the size of the fee and level of competition is greater but the situations do draw similarities). With the staff available at Leicester and him having the necessary physical attributes, attitude and work rate, as well as the foundations of the right technical abilities and positional awareness etc. I'm sure we can make into a top player. We would not be spending £21mil otherwise. It's a colossal fee for us.
FrankieADZ Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 http://owngoalnigeria.com/2016/07/03/breaking-leicester-city-win-race-for-ahmed-musa/ Deal done 21m Medical tomorrow same site who in the week said he was off to West Ham I see
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Medical tomorrow? Cool, we'll get an official announcement after his umpteenth one in late August then.
Nick Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Exciting stuff. At his age we can develop his decision making, pace and skill.
TJB-fox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Always looked a HUGE threat whenever I've seen him in the CL. Torn our English teams apart before, maybe suits the English game better than the Russian style (whatever that is)??
