Ahmed Musa

He's the same age as Schlupp, played in a World Cup scoring a couple of worldies, played in champions league, captained his country, quick as feck, banged in a few goals, can play several positions.

This from a Twitter account with 30k followers and a photo of Musa on the page.

Done deal: CSKA's Ahmed Musa becomes a new #LCFC player for a reportedly $21M fee. Congrats my friend.

Similar age, skill set, ability and promising future as Saido Mane, and looks like we got Musa for close to half of the £30m Liverpool just paid for Mane. Not complaining at all, hard worker and will suit our counter attacking style. Pace is incredible.

Yeah but look what happened to Kramaric.

Artur Petrosyan editor in chief of sport-express.ru with 23k followers has tweeted that musa is set for medical next week and will cost around £16m.

Looks like a few sources reporting this now. I think Liam plane tracking has a lot of merit

This is priceless

"Musa will be in England on Monday to have his medicals alongside his agent"

So hopefully 59 medicals later and his agents medical, this is going to happen

LEICESTER are expected to break the bank again to complete the signing of £16million Ahmed Musa next week.

The Nigeria forward will join Nampalys Mendy, who today officially became the Foxes’ record signing.

Musa, 23, bagged 18 goals in 44 games for Russian champions CSKA Moscow last season.

His agent, Tony Harris, recently confirmed he would be on his way to the Premier League next season.

He said: “We’re finalising talks with a Premier League club, but it’s not West Ham. I was frankly surprised by this rumour.

“Yes, he’s coming to England. But Musa’s not joining West Ham.”

Reports from Russia claim the striker will fly to England on Tuesday and is said to be in “great shape” ahead of his medical.

Southampton were also keen on the Nigerian captain as a replacement for Sadio Mane.

But it appears the lure of Champions League football and life with the Premier League champions has swung Musa towards Leicester.

Yeah but look what happened to Kramaric.

We changed managers, who knows what may or may not have happened if Pearson had stayed.

If we get this over the line and for around £16 million then that's excellent business IMHO. Just goes to show, when people are saying 'just pay it' and getting impatient, sometimes it pays to play the long game and test the seller's resolve.

It'll be even better business we've had the good sense not to put a daft release clause in his contract.
