From my limited knowledge, Nigeria is ( mostly) split between Christians and Muslims Can we assume, and please tell me wrong by the name Ahmed that he is a Muslim. I just wondered if there are any Muslims out there who can can comment on how the daytime fasting of Ramadam effects them personally? I'm just curious as to how it could effect a professional footballer at the top of the prem/ champions league.

He wasn't badly effected by it, and I'm sure athletes are given somewhat lighter terms.

In fact most live very disciplined lives like the toure brothers and are an example to other premiership footballers. RM is another example
