You think Inler & Benalouane were Walsh scouted signings?  :wes:

Fair point, probably not to be honest.

...But that means Don Claudio is not infallible.  That can't be right.

Must admit, I'd be a little worried about paying lots of money for this guy - first time I've ever seen a Youtube "highlights" video actually manage to make someone look bad! Seems fast, but his passing and shooting both seem to be erratic.

Don't think he looks bad just a little raw. He's young and I recon he'll improve alot with us.

If he can play on the wing decently and is also a striker, he may also be able to help during AFCON with Schlupp and Mahrez gone, providing he doesn't also needed up front...

There's no proper logic behind this but for some reason this is the guy I want us to sign the most.

Let's just hope that the club haven't inserted the standard Rudkin £5.00 release clause.

If they have, I'm buying him and putting him on E-bay

My feelings exactly. The YouTube video shows him to be quick but the end product is hardly impressive. Surely there is more to him than the highlights show.

Be careful not to write anything silly like in the Kante, mahrez, Vardy threads etc.

Got a feeling this one will be another world beater soon!

I cannot understand how some people here are complaining about players in our squad

Premier League Medals

Okazaki 1-0 Harry Kane

Inler 1-0 Schweinsteiger

Dyer 1-0 Sanchez

I would rather have all of our lads then those useless tw*ts because without our lads, little old Leicester would never have won the title

on top of that.... how anyone can say Inler, Benny and Kram were bad signings, when they barely put a foot wrong, but were just kept out by in form players is beyond me!

If Walshy wants Musa, get him in... UP THE FOXES

So if you were offered a swap of Alexis Sanchez for Nathan Dyer you'd keep Dyer? I don't have a problem with the bloke, he played his part and I am very grateful for that, but I'd still trade him for Sanchez in a flash.

Schweinsteiger has damaged his rep at Utd imo but I'd still swap him for Inler. I like Shinji but I'd swap him too.

It could be an aspect of patience with him if he does sign, as he will be adapting to an entirely new league playing a different level of football. I suppose you could say that with any potential signing. However, when you buying a player with some already good assets and qualities, it gives you a solid platform for development, in this case probably with his shooting ability. I can understand concerns, but we will see. The best thing we can do is support him if he does sign for us, and that's the same for every addition - knowing a player's got the backing of the fans will help to a good degree.

In comparison, if we look at Vardy, Mahrez, Schmeichel, Morgan and Drinkwater. They've all been playing together for a good few years, but the key thing here, is that they were given patience/time to develop and become better players. And now, they are regulars in a side who are current Champions of England. Although that was a more extreme example, from my point of view if we give Musa the same patience/time, he can develop his areas of improvement, to become an even better overall footballer, just like the current group of players.

People comparing him to when we signed Mahrez and Kante and Vardy. All 3 combined cost £7m. Musa would cost over three times that. It's one thing to have patience and mould and coach someone you paid £400k for. But for £23m surely we expect someone more than a speed merchant with erratic decision makings.

I'm sceptical about this.

Good point in fairness.

Got to assume he'll replace Albrighton in the starting 11 and be the option up top should Vardy be out. Never seen him play but the coaches improved Vardys composure and finishing so hope they can do the same here. For £23m you'd hope they've seen something special!

I don't know; possibly, but his skill set seems very different to Albrightons. Hope he can do a good job defensively, as not many beat Albrighton in that department.

I suspect it'll depend on the opposition, but starting or coming of the bench, should this go through, we are going to be frightening to play against.
