South Wales is closer to Spain?

Similar reason to why Bolton have a history of signing Icelandic players then :D

He is far too greedy.

I say it a lot but Sturridge and Clyne are overrated.

Sturridge after coming back from his dark days, still hasnt c found his early career form.

Hes now at the crux of his L'pool and maybe his footballing career.

He doesnt carry the fear factor anymore. He has it in him he might need a good half to full season

before he can find his mojo again, or hes totally messed up his given talent and he dwindles out of favour.

Strange really...Welbeck Sturridge Sterling, were so near ruling the roost for England, injuries wrong placed

arrogance, loss of form with loss of confidence is still haunting at least 2 of them.

I was Sterlings heaviest critic, glad to see the lad...see the light, Sturridge now has to follow suit.

Clyne is a very good full back dont know what youre on about, if anything underrated.

He's good at going forward but nothing special defensively. Lost the header today in which Swansea scored.

I think he's top quality and suits Klopp's style, can run up and down for 90, very quick, good on the ball, strong tackler.

Was it a definite pen ?

thought Fermino was quite off balance as he turned to try and shoot. Seemed to go over very easily as a result.

In any case, I thought the keeper should have come and punched  that ball - was in the air for ages.

Kante is being played in the wrong position at Chelsea. He is not makelele, he is not a DM. He's an excellent box to box midfielder, probably the best in the league. Last season when we were on the ball, Drinkwater would come deep and link the play. Kante would push forward and win the ball high up the pitch. Off the ball, Kante was so fast he could recover his position quickly and also cover Mahrez. The only time he really sat back was against the big teams and even then, he would push forwards to tackle/intercept when there was an opportunity.

Chelsea/France, try to play him in the Makele role. Sitting infront of the defence, holding his position and linking play. That's not his game, he needs to be pushing forward and knicking the ball in the opponents half.

Apparently he played box to box today. Had a great game bar that miss according to chelsea fans.

Are we obsessed much?

It's the premier league thread where we discuss other premier league happenings. If by 'obsessed' you mean we take a higher level of interest in ex-players then yes, we're obsessed.
