Wymsey Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Obviously Carragher was there for Klopp. Should've made some short show on this at the weekend. Quite disrespectful for the 2 teams playing.

I know it's a big thing for them having Klopp there but the big club bias is getting worse. Made me laugh, they even had the two teams with the players names up on the touchscreen, Klopp was still referring to players as numbers, not discussing the player or team, just the formation and how Liverpool would play. Klopp about sent me to sleep, I laughed at a few things he said but on a whole it just merged into white noise.

I love Klopp but me and Mrs Col were sitting in the lounge listening to Klopp before the game, when she looked and said 'what the fook is he on about!' I couldn't disagree. He was talking what sounded some utter shite..
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 On same number of points as Burnley and three behind Palace Can't wait to get this rinrun of tough games over!
Dr The Singh Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Great performance from Burnley, total team work and hard work, well deserved.

Bert Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Klopp great to listen to but I can't stand the media love for him.

Wymsey Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Watford have got decent potential player in Isaac Success with his pace and skill.
Corky Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Burnley had four goalscorers tonight, Hendrick and Michael Keane in reality, Michael Kightly and Will Keane according to each commentator.

The programme started at 11.30 & in that hour before kick off they must have spoke about us for all of 10 minutes. I didn't watch the game tonight but judging by what I have read on Twitter it sounds like it was the Klopp & Liverpool show.

Dare I say our only real "Success" last night. Typical after Lord Mayor's show - we are used to it - particularly in northern places like Burnley where our record is awful.

Hopefully Amazon or another big company buy the rights instead of Sky and give football a new look/approach. Sky Sports are just so robotic, big club biased and, 'sky sources' is the worst thing in football.
davieG Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 BT are no better they've just repeated the sky formula with a few tweeks

It's hard to look at the table at the moment but Palace, like Everton, have only played one decent team which is Spurs. Bar the Hull result our points tally is pretty much what we would expect against Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool. Us and Hull have had the toughest starts. Nov and Dec looks a lot kinder for us where we can start to get the points and move up the table. I still expect us to get 6th or 7th. The negativity on here and constant doom merchant topics after a loss (to the big clubs so far) is ruining this forum from Saturday to Tuesday, i'm going to have to find other things to do at work and engage in conversation with the missus at home. We have been spoilt for the last year of not having to feel the sadness of a battering.
SlaneyLCFC Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I can see where some of the doom and gloom comes from to be fair after the season we have just had. There is some expectation that we can go into the big games with a lot of fight and not wrap our tits in at HT (Bar a few players) after the 3rd went in the trying was all but done. At least there should of been a bit more of fightback (Villa last season) The talk of relegation is utterly laughable though I will admit. Sunderland/Burnley/West Ham to go down for me this season.

West Ham are stuck in a rut, but they've got very good players that will surely not be as poor for the remainder of the season. Hull will struggle as will Boro and Bournemouth. WHam will finish above these.
Fox92 Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 The league table shouldn't even be shown yet. I wouldn't read much into it. We saw Palace fourth/fifth/sixth last season all the way up 'till Christmas where the media were saying about Europe etc but then they fell away... I remember Everton under Moyes they always started the season slowly yet ended up finishing top 10 every year.
Wymsey Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Guidolin could be 1st manager to be given the boot as Swansea chairman meets Bob Bradley. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37487066
ScouseFox Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 as if people were complaining there wasn't enough chat about burnley or watford last night. wtf does anyone want to listen to people talking about fu cking burnley. they're shit and pointless, that's about all there is to say. sky know they have to show each team a certain amount of times so cleverly put two of the dullest teams on a monday night so we could have MNF talk all about the weekends action and not an hour build up talking about george boyd or etienne capoue.
