The Doctor Posted 1 October 2016 Posted 1 October 2016 Jenas is an idiot. Kante wasn't a holding midfielder for us last season, he was a box to box midfielder playing exactly like those highlights - winning the ball and driving forward.

Super_horns Posted 1 October 2016 Posted 1 October 2016 Was our Player of the season last time out but certainly been more suspect this. Mind you so has our defence generally! Success once more improved us quite a bit when he came on.

Yes, but the vast majority of the time he is a solid performer. I could show you errors from Manuel Neuer and Gianluigi Buffon. Errors happen
ScouseFox Posted 1 October 2016 Posted 1 October 2016 shearer on MOTD saying how Liverpool can't be any good because they can't defend set pieces. "that's their third set piece goal they've conceded this season" we conceded three in 20 mins last week hahahah

Errors happen True but he seems far more error-prone than the average Premier League keeper, we'd be all over Kasper if he made half the howlers Gomes did.
Tuna Posted 1 October 2016 Posted 1 October 2016 Sunderland are like a career criminal who every year goes on trial for being a shithouse, and gets off at the last minute on a technicality. They literally serve no purpose being in the premier league, for goodness sake just get relegated we're all sick of the sight of them being crap year after year and scrounging survival at the last minute.

I watched part of the match and thought he was playing much more like he did for us with the surging runs, etc. Looked good.
Keith Wellers Tights Posted 1 October 2016 Posted 1 October 2016 Only if you go the long way round via the USA
Dan Posted 1 October 2016 Posted 1 October 2016 That Payet goal is getting massively over-rated. Goal of the season my arse. He's done well obviously but it's absolutely appalling defending.

Absolutely no way anyone should be picking the ball up on one wing 25 yards from goal and scoring from the other side of the six yard box without even an halfhearted attempt at a tackle.

There wasn't a single challenge. There wasn't actually any skill produced in that goal that was THAT impressive. He's obviously done well but you can't defend like that and have people calling it goal of the season.

Matt Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 David Luiz v Jamie Vardy and Islam Slimani, Tim Sherwood's verdict. http://www.squawka.com/news/tim-sherwood-fears-for-david-luiz-against-islam-slimani-and-jamie-vardy/787090 I hope he's right. I like Luiz going forward as a defender though, he's a car crash.
Wymsey Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 Probably going to be a minutes silence for this person, played for Man Utd & Stoke and scored against Leicester in FA Cup. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37533154
FireFox Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 Man City finally tested by a half decent team and down 2 at HT. #PepFraud

All those players will be wanting to win it after failing to last season, they have real hunger. I'm not looking forward to us going there in a few weeks.
