It appears to have gone very quiet in regards to Mr Sigurdsson-I really rate this chap and believe he would be a great addition to our squad-any news anyone.

He's at the European Championships so I'm guessing, just like Vardy and Kante, nothing will be coming out during the next 4 weeks or so.

I've always liked Sigurdsson and would love him here.

Probably repeating myself but really really like him.

Last time I watched him he did nothing and was subbed off. Then again, we made all of the Swansea players look rubbish that day.

4-0 to the one-man team :claudio:

He's always been quality, We should sign him up quickly before his profile rises further.

Thankfully Iceland are awful and he's playing in a deeper role which doesn't really highlight him in his best light, would love him in our team always remember him during his reading days ripping us to pieces at the kp

We're in advanced talks according to my apple news app.

Leicester City aren’t just working to keep their current stars this summer, they also want to bring in new talent to defend their Premier League crown. That’s why the Foxes are hot on the trail of current Swansea, and former Tottenham midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Tutto Mercato are reporting that Claudio Ranieri’s club are already in advanced negotiations to sign the Icelandic midfielder. While much of the Leicester transfer chatter this summer has centered on players who might be leaving the club, Leicester officials have been working diligently to strengthen their squad for next season.

Sigurdsson would be a useful player for Leicester no matter what happens with the Foxes’ in-demand trio of Jamie Vardy, N’Golo Kante, and Riyad Mahrez this summer. His ability to move the ball all around the pitch while also contributing goals in attack would be a huge help for most any Premier League side.

Gylfi would score a few goals for us, from free kicks and longer range. But he's not quick and I don't know where I'd see him fit into our team and our style. I wouldn't drop ANY of our current first team to include him in it. Mahrez is far more dangerous, Kante and Drinkwater command their own positions and Albrighton is great at getting the ball in early. Would he come here to sit on the bench because, given our first team, I don't think he'd start.

Iceland looks pretty weak and this boy is trying to be everywhere just like Kante.Should have scored though

I think we would see his best qualities against Austria/Hungary

drop Shinji and give Gylfi a free role in the hole behind Vardy .
