Fox92 Posted 10 June 2016 Posted 10 June 2016 It appears to have gone very quiet in regards to Mr Sigurdsson-I really rate this chap and believe he would be a great addition to our squad-any news anyone. He's at the European Championships so I'm guessing, just like Vardy and Kante, nothing will be coming out during the next 4 weeks or so. I've always liked Sigurdsson and would love him here.
Benguin Posted 10 June 2016 Posted 10 June 2016 Oh how I missed the whole bumping a dead thread with no new knowledge outside the transfer window...... Not
johnny the fox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 This is a spurious link I can masturbate to. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/06/14/ss-report-leicester-city-in-advanced-talks-with-swansea-city-ove/? get your knob out...
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Probably repeating myself but really really like him.
Spudulike Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Last time I watched him he did nothing and was subbed off. Then again, we made all of the Swansea players look rubbish that day. 4-0 to the one-man team
Vindaloo FOX Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 got 11 goals last season in a rubbish team . always rated him, its 100 % yes from me .
Sampson Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 This is a spurious link I can masturbate to. Gylfi is a handsome bastard tbf.
weller54 Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Gylfi is a handsome bastard tbf. Decent.. But he's no Harry 'Brad Pitt ' Kane!
Fox92 Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 I'd love him here. And we might have a chance of scoring free kicks!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 More rumours on Twitter that we could be signing Gylfi Can't post link as I'm on phone and shit with IT stuff
weller54 Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Gylfi is a handsome bastard tbf. ....That's why mum's go to Iceland?
Mezeker Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 he is playing well so far, missed a huge chance though; should of done better. This guy's value seems set to rise after the euros.
Clever Fox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 He's always been quality, We should sign him up quickly before his profile rises further.
dbtcity Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 He's always been quality, We should sign him up quickly before his profile rises further. Thankfully Iceland are awful and he's playing in a deeper role which doesn't really highlight him in his best light, would love him in our team always remember him during his reading days ripping us to pieces at the kp
SheppyFox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 We're in advanced talks according to my apple news app. Leicester City aren’t just working to keep their current stars this summer, they also want to bring in new talent to defend their Premier League crown. That’s why the Foxes are hot on the trail of current Swansea, and former Tottenham midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson. Tutto Mercato are reporting that Claudio Ranieri’s club are already in advanced negotiations to sign the Icelandic midfielder. While much of the Leicester transfer chatter this summer has centered on players who might be leaving the club, Leicester officials have been working diligently to strengthen their squad for next season. Sigurdsson would be a useful player for Leicester no matter what happens with the Foxes’ in-demand trio of Jamie Vardy, N’Golo Kante, and Riyad Mahrez this summer. His ability to move the ball all around the pitch while also contributing goals in attack would be a huge help for most any Premier League side.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Gylfi would score a few goals for us, from free kicks and longer range. But he's not quick and I don't know where I'd see him fit into our team and our style. I wouldn't drop ANY of our current first team to include him in it. Mahrez is far more dangerous, Kante and Drinkwater command their own positions and Albrighton is great at getting the ball in early. Would he come here to sit on the bench because, given our first team, I don't think he'd start.
tsintskaro Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Iceland looks pretty weak and this boy is trying to be everywhere just like Kante.Should have scored though I think we would see his best qualities against Austria/Hungary
Finnegan Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 I'd love Gylfi, he's class, but I don't see us signing anyone currently at the Euros until it's over.
