Be interesting to see what happens if only Henderson breaks down. Wouldnt be surprised to see danny getting binned. Totally deserves to be there. To be fair to Roy, we don't know where drinks sits in his thinking.

Townsend has looked decent at Newcastle so i'm fine with that.

BUT...

Rashford? I'd have Defoe or even Caroll in there as something a bit different.

Wiltshere? Delph? Henderson? Lallana? Sterling? Barkley? Give me Albrighton, Antonio and Noble instead please.

And only 3 centre backs? Risky. I might be a bit biased but if we were 1-0 up against Germany with 15 minutes to go, Danny Simpson could do a job.

Until Woy starts picking players on ability rather than reputation then we will just have to put up with disappointment.

IMO it's between Townsend and (unfortunately) Drinkwater for the third cut. Depends if Wilshere/Henderson get through the games unscathed. 

 

3 CB's is a massive risk, especially considering one of them is John Stones.

Drinkwater shits on every midfielder on that squad. His all round game is embarrassingly superior to Dier, Rooney I guess counts as a midfielder, Alli, Barkley, Henderson, Milner, Lallana, Wilshire, Delph etc.

DD isn't competing with Townsend, they are totally different players.

DD is up against Dier, Delph, Henderson and Wilshere.

You would have to say DD and Dier are nailed on with one of the other 3 missing out. Probably Delph.

Also it's no surprise he has included his three Liverpool arse lickers in Henderson, Milner & Lallana.

Don't know why fans are complaining about the Wilshere selection though, on his day he is England's best player.

Every fan base want their players in the national team. West Ham fans are getting their knickers in twist and want even their tea lady in the England squad.

People are getting too worked up over this. Vardy is going. If Drinkwater doesn't go then meh.....

If Drinkwater doesn't go then I officially withdraw my support for the England national team until that melted face clown is ousted, and will be supporting Wales at the EURO's instead.

I actually think he will go though, because Leicester have had such a high profile season, surely the sponsors will prefer Drinkwater over the likes of Delph who has never done anything remarkable at all even if he does play for man City

I don't mind Rashford being in the 26, but he is one of 5 forwards so he is on the plane, or we go with only 4 forwards, one being Rooney who is being turned into a midfielder and one is made of glass. Madness not to have more options, Walcott would be in there as he is a striker and a wide player, I know he hasn't had a great season, but neither has Rashford, 4 league goals is decent, but he hasn't forced his way onto the plane. Carroll is another one I would bring ahead of Rashford, he is not perfect but he gives you options.

Drinkwater has to go with only three centre backs picked. He's the only one disciplined enough to play the holding role if Dier has to play at the back.
