GaelicFox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 I hope he doesn't get picked ! One less player to worry about this summer !
4everfox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 What our first eleven should be: Forster Clyne Smalling Stones Rose Dier Drinkwater Alli Barkley Vardy Kane What it will be: Hart Clyne Smalling Cahill Rose Alli Henderson Sterling Rooney Lallana Kane

Stadt Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 diamonds are wank, the only team that has ever been any god with a diamond is ac milan when they had kaka, rui costa, seedorf, shevchenko and pirlo in the side
Ric Flair Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 We essentially need to play 3-4-1-2 with Cahill, Smalling and Dier acting as the 3rd centre half when Rose and Clyne bomb forward. With Alli, Drinkwater and either Rooney, Barkley, Sterling or Lallana behind a front two of Kane and Vardy or maybe Sturridge and one other. I don't see any other way of getting our best players involved.
foxy boxing Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 we need someone in midfield who can actually tackle and get the ball back can't see anyone who can do that for england, dier needs to stay in front of the back four and protect them(for that he needs to be intuative and use his brain).we need quick balls up to kane and then vardy when he comes on.
AKCJ Posted 19 May 2016 Posted 19 May 2016 What our first eleven should be: Forster Clyne Smalling Stones Rose Dier Drinkwater Alli Barkley Vardy Kane What it will be: Hart Clyne Smalling Cahill Rose Alli Henderson Sterling Rooney Lallana Kane Stones shouldn't be anywhere near the team. He's awful.
davieG Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 Paul Scholes believes that Jamie Vardy should be left on England’s bench, with Wayne Rooney the man to partner Harry Kane. Vardy has scored three goals in his seven England caps, and impressed against Turkey after moving into a central position. He won a penalty and scored the winner. However, Scholes believes that it would be a mistake for Rooney to be dropped back into midfield, and insists that England’s captain should still make Hodgson’s starting line-up. Vardy, Scholes thinks, should be used as an impact substitute rather than in a starting role. We don’t completely disagree. “I’d probably still start with Wayne in a number 10 or a number nine role up front with Kane,” Scholes said. “I’d maybe keep Vardy as sub for the last 20 minutes and see how it goes. “If it doesn’t start great then there are options. It’s the best thing about this squad – so many options.” There really are great options – Daniel Sturridge doesn’t even merit mention here.
ScouseFox Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 scholes also said something about harry kane having a season on another level to either vardy or mahrez. what a troll.
Fox92 Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 If I'd have scored 20+ goals in the top flight, like Vardy has, and was told "oh you'll be used for 20 minutes each game as an impact sub" I wouldn't even go. How disrespectful.
Ric Flair Posted 25 May 2016 Posted 25 May 2016 There's always one player who starts as a sub and then bails his team out and goes on to have a monster of a tournament, this will be Vardy. It'll pain Hodgson as well but he'll have no choice when Kane has put a window through on an office block next to the stadium and Vardy comes on with 10 mins to go when we're 1 down to Russia and scores twice.
ScouseFox Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 delph looks pretty injured, sturridge is half injured, one more to go? mon the drinky
steflcfc Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 Hopefully the injury to Delph puts Drinkwater on the plane to the Euros. one of Rashford or Sturridge to get the chop Then I would say Townsend or Wilshire for the last place. The other main reason to keep Drinkwater is that if Dier has to take a CB place at some stage then Drinky can slot straight into that DM slot.
RowlattsFox Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 Rooney will start on the bench, thought he'd be playing in this one. Forster Clyne Smalling Stones Bertrand Henderson Drinkwater Wilshere Lallana Rashford Barkley That would be my guess.
Lcfc_lass10 Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 Delph injured then. Can't see Sturridge being fully fit since he's had this knock. Think the last one will be Townsend.

Forster Clyne Smalling Stones Bertrand Henderson Drinkwater Wilshere Lallana Rashford Barkley That would be my guess. can see Milner playing in cm and Townsend should get some minutes too
Dan Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 If Milner plays in midfield whilst Drinkwater's on the bench then he's an absolute prat.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 Delph injured then. Can't see Sturridge being fully fit since he's had this knock. Think the last one will be Townsend. It is all falling into place nicely, Roy can't be trusted to pick the right team so if he is forced to then that is for the best
steflcfc Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 Was thinking earlier, that surely Drinkwater should be a great shout for a spot on the plane, as if Dier has to slip into Centre Back/get injured then Danny should be his ideal replacement in that position.
AyewJoking Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 delph looks pretty injured, sturridge is half injured, one more to go? mon the drinky he's on the up then? wheel chair>one leg>fúcked>buggered>pretty injured>light training>rejoin aston villa
Dodgy Bob Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Delph injury is good news for Drinky but how pathetic is it that Hodgson's squad is unravelling already. He picks players who have barely played all season and he's surprised when they get injured? He's such an idiot, I can't even believe he is still England manager.

Delph was going to miss out anyway so doesn't change Drinkys stance. I still think he will miss out along with Delph and Sturridge/Rashford
foxy boxing Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 england will never learn about taking injured or unfit players, woy is too stubborn to evolve,.has rashford done anything in the u-21 to warrant a full call up?
Langston Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 england will never learn about taking injured or unfit players, woy is too stubborn to evolve,.has rashford done anything in the u-21 to warrant a full call up? That's not really how it works though, is it? It's not like you categorically have to play well for the under-21s or you won't be selected for the full squad. If you're good enough you'll be in with the seniors - Michael Owen only had one under 21 cap, an age level where Francis Jeffers remains our nation's top scorer. Who would you have rather had at the turn of the millennium?
