Fulham are a decent side themselves so I'm amazed they surrendered 86% possession. unless the BBC stats are wrong. Fair play to Derby. Its wrong. Fulham had most of the ball in the first half, and we probably edged it in the second. Probably 40-60 possession wise in Fulhams favour.

Newcastle are awarded a penalty , take it and score and the ref awards a free kick to burton on the penalty spot so the goal is disallowed Sums up our league.. even the rules are overlooked
AKCJ Posted 5 April 2017 Share Posted 5 April 2017 Apparently (according to the laws) if the game had finished 0-0 Newcastle could have enforced a replay.
Tuna Posted 5 April 2017 Share Posted 5 April 2017 We're in trouble if the referees don't understand the basic rules of the game, deary me.

I'm dumbfounded. I can appreciate the ref having a 'senior moment' but what was the fourth official and his assistants doing not to alert him to his error?? all four of them need an enforced break. Forest v Blackburn next week looking a pretty pivotal game. If Forest lose that could well be bottom three with four to play.
peterborofox Posted 6 April 2017 Share Posted 6 April 2017 Shows refereeing incompetence and that they've lied and made up the rules. Four officials at a game and not one knows the rules?!?! All should not have a game for rest of the season now
Guest FriendlyRam Posted 6 April 2017 Share Posted 6 April 2017 Pretty basic rule. But we are talking about the Championship we get league 1 standard refs and the useless one's from the prem as well, so not saying much. Some of the decisions we see week in week out takes the p***. Felt for a while each league ought to have their own specific refs, just like the Prem.
Koke Posted 7 April 2017 Share Posted 7 April 2017 Brighton won agsin tonight, 2-1 v QPR. Decent run in for them as well. Also, Brighton - Crystal Palace is the weirdest rivalry in football.

Wymsey Posted 8 April 2017 Share Posted 8 April 2017 Quite glad Birmingham are currently losing to Derby. Quite disgusting of sacking a manager who was keeping them around the top-6. Blackburn also currently losing - will be sad if they were to go down; because they were one of the top teams earlier in PL history and got caught in the sometimes nasty web of having foreign owners that haven't done much for both the club and supporters and got them into a bad state. StanSP Posted 8 April 2017 Share Posted 8 April 2017 apparently Barnsley's 2nd goal came from a shot which hit the bar 3 times then eventually went in

Guest FriendlyRam Posted 8 April 2017 Share Posted 8 April 2017 Reading That's bad,, to be top 4 with a negative goal difference sums up how s*** this league is other than the top 2. 3rd and 5 down inside 35 minutes is bad
