Guest Electric Yetis Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 Surely one of them needs to work out that Richard Keogh should be nowhere near a Championship defence. Or any defence for that matter.
separator Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 Morris just trying to beat Fawaz when it comes to fvcking up an East Midlands football club
TheUltimateWinner Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 That squad needs to be ripped apart and a new one built. If only they had a manager who was capable of doing that...
Corky Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 Four managers given the boot in the past 13 months (I know Wassall wasn't technically sacked but not kept on either). The chairman needs to look at himself now. Mandaric (correctly) received stick for his fondness of changing manager but he at least kept one for two years and one walked out after six weeks.

Quote Here's a stat for you: This will be the fifth consecutive Forest v Sheep game where different Managers have led both clubs. That's bonkers. Quote McClaren v Pearce Freedman v Clement Wassall v Williams McClaren v Montanier Brazil v Thats assuming Brazil is still in charge by Sat...

They are a mid-table Championship side, they should know their place. All the goodwill they've built up has been lost.
Corky Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 He seemed to cope alright whilst losing one of his first 13 matches.

Hardly a mess ffs, we had too many central midfielders and Hendrick wasn't a first choice, and we got 10m quid for him.... Martin was never going to fit into a 442 which Pearson wanted, but he managed to net us a 3m quid loan fee and have the option of bringing him back... He netted a 2m pound profit,,, which has since been used to pay off 500 staff that Mel has sacked in the past 5 months... Pearson didn't have any time to make a mess

I think some Derby supporters just don't like him. Seems like the constant change in managers has got you in a right mess.
Tuna Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 What a season for East Midlands football: Leicester - sacked their manager. Forest - sacked their manager. Derby - sacked 2 managers. Northampton - sacked their manager. Notts County - sacked their manager. Mansfield - sacked their manager. Chesterfield - sacked their manager.

Seems like the constant change in managers has got you in a right mess. From my perspective (being an outsider completely uninformed on Derby matters) it looks like every manager brought in has never had the chance to make the squad theirs. Some have started (Pearsons mini clear out) but never got anywhere close to building the foundations of a new squad. They've had the same squad for years now, who have achieved nothing but bottling play offs - that being in their primes, they're only going to get worse. Derby is a long term project, it just seems that their owner is trigger happy and adamant that the manager has to change before the players do.
ajthefox Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 I was taking a dump when I read that Mclaren had been sacked and genuinely started laughing out loud. Chairman is clearly very trigger happy. If Derby get promoted in the next few years it'll be no thanks to him.
