Kitchandro Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 Wow this is negative. No one wants to make a forward pass let alone try and take someone on. Whoever wins this is going straight back down.
theessexfox Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 Huddersfield are impressive in spells. Mooy is a serious player, reminds me of Drinkwater.

Whoever wins this is going straight back down. That's extremely cynical considering: A) it's a massive game at Wembley for Premier League football, so it's bound to be a chess game. Neither team are going to want to throw too much up front and leave themselves open at the back. Plus also B) They'll likely be investment into either promoted squad before next season anyway.
Dan Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 To be honest based on this (and the way both teams finished when the chips were down) I'd be surprised if either of these stayed up.

The fact it's a massive game should make no difference. The aim of football is to score more goals than the opposition. If they're not trying to score I don't see what their game plan is. No point waiting for one bit of luck to swing it either way and if it goes agains then start panicking and throw loads of bodies forward. The Championship used to be of a much higher standard 5 - 7 years ago and as a result we saw better player off finals. Both these teams would need major improvement to be up to Premier League standard. They are pretty poor.
The Doctor Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 Such a scrappy, turgid game. That van la parre is really annoying me with his shit decision making and delivery, and I've lost count of how many times reading pressure has broken down through kermorgant trying something audacious but stupid. Either side needs a hell of a lot of investment to not go straight back down
AyewJoking Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 So crap. People have been bigging up Huddersfield so they must be having an off day. Penalties please, get some shots on target
UPinCarolina Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 Perhaps it's only the shirts but Hudderfield look quite athletic at times.
Dan Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 I'm not expecting an open game here but this has been absolutely garbage.
Tuna Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 Can we just go with 19 teams next season? This game is an embarrassment to football. Absolute rubbish.
Kitchandro Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 Both teams have been playing for penalties since about 15 minutes in.
StanSP Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 I think Huddersfield have been the ones to try and make something of the game. Reading, as expected, have been ****ing shit and boring.
surrifox Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 Poor game - H'field poor but a little more enterprising than Reading
IOWFOX Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 Rather end it now and let hull stay up than watch extra time!
The Doctor Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 7 minutes... just go straight to penalties please, 30 more minutes of this would be horrific

The Doctor Posted 29 May 2017 Posted 29 May 2017 Huddersfield steal the ball high up then over play it and don't get so much as a shot. Story of the game.
