whoareyaaa Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 The more you think about it the more pissed off you get It's just an outright fvcking shit decision Hodgson needs to fvck off Yep, it's not going to get better I'm afraid. Basically half the squad is full of Tottenham and Liverpool players, teams that won nothing. Then you have 8 game tournament winner Rashford, 3 game Wilshere and a bunch of useless centre backs who have never played together.
Staffs Fox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Vardy's involvement is literally the only reason I have an interest in England. If it wasn't for Vardy's involvement I wouldn't really give a fuck. I can't support England with that prick in charge, i'm almost done with them while he's the manager. Thing is even with Vardy playing we all know he's gonna be played out of position anyway, so what's the point?! When the tournament starts I might change my tune (When it's an excuse to go to the pub, the beer might start talking) but I have as much interest in England as I do Wales, France, Austria - The link, Leicester players. My passion for England is currently 0. Part of me wouldn't mind England being knocked out in the group stages, on Vardy's part i'd be disappointed for him, but hopefully a dismal, embarrasing group KO would be a huge nail in Woy's coffin. Well said mate, My thoughts exactly. Like you say interest might natural come when it starts but other than Vardy I don't give a shit about that England side, Gutted to be honest, growing up I loved supporting England but my dislike for Hodgson is so great it over takes everything
AjcW Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Can he be recalled back into the squad if Henderson or Wilshere get injured before the Euro's? I think Roy essentially said if one of them gets injured Rooney is the cover. We haven't named a standby list so he's basically said to Townsend and Drinky go on holiday. He'd have had to name them on some sort of standby so that they stay in training and not booze it up in Vegas
Staffs Fox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Drinky is a professional footballer so will not have the same mentality as us angry mob, he has shown this by getting over his release from Man United to become an integral part of the Premier League winning side, but deep down some part of him must want England to struggle, I'd be ****ing livid if I was him. Two players who have played next to no football (neither of which are anywhere close to being world class) get picked ahead of him who has been outstanding for 12 months and hardly missed a minute. He is on the crest of a wave, a man bang in form and man with a winning mentality with experience of winning big trophies. However because he's the 'last in' as Woy quite eloquently puts it and the 'first out'. Utter ****ing nonsense, that's not how you pick a side. Should Dean Hammond have started over Kante last season because he's been part of our set up longer?? The guys a moron
Countryfox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Who the heck decided to pay him that ?? ..... I always thought Terry Fvckwit from Viz was a fictitious character ....
ThaiFox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Unbelievable. Talk about rewarding someone underachieving. What are the FA playing at? Surely he should be paid a basic salary with bonuses given on tournament results? People moan at company directors getting fat cat salaries, but most are paid on profit sharing schemes which progress the company and create wealth and employment. All hodgson does is depress people! It just shows how totally clueless the FA are. And the sad thing is I can't see it changing.
Darkon84 Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 To be honest, the most shocking one there is Fatih Terim for Turkey!
Tuna Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Capello was on billions wasn't he before they gave him the heave ho.
lcfcliam Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 I genuinely cannot believe he hasn't taken Drinkwater! It is literally a moronic decision!
Sammy Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Worst bit about this is Drinkwater will be in the first international squad of next season 100%
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 His salary fooks me off. Maybe it shouldn't but it does. FA (Fookin Assholes?) How about giving Woy 2 million a year and the extra 3 million can go into local grassroots football? No?..There's a shock..
Buzzell Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 I think Roy essentially said if one of them gets injured Rooney is the cover. We haven't named a standby list so he's basically said to Townsend and Drinky go on holiday. He'd have had to name them on some sort of standby so that they stay in training and not booze it up in Vegas Rooney as a holding midfielder? Suppose thats the reason he's took both Rashford and Sturridge, so we have enough cover for strikers.
whetstonefox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Leeds have had 6 managers since Jack Wilshire last completed a full 90 minutes with Arsenal!
AjcW Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 To be honest, the most shocking one there is Fatih Terim for Turkey! It's pretty shocking that anyone is above Low and Del Bosque to be fair.
Fox92 Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 I was lying in bed last night and the fact that 5 Liverpool players have made the squad is a shambles, especially as two of them are carrying knocks, they finished like 7th and won nothing yet still get picked. It's a farce, just because the **** has managed them before, it wouldn't surprise me if he is getting a backhander, cause it makes no sense what so ever. On the other hand, just because we've won the league doesn't make our players better. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing here (actually I'm disagreeing with Hodgson the ****) but you can't use a team's league position to justify their inclusion in the national team. Liverpool won the league in '86 but no Liverpool players were picked by England that year.
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 To be honest, the most shocking one there is Fatih Terim for Turkey! Fair play to Slutsky! He's doing it for nowt!
Deanosbeano Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Liverpool won the league in '86 but no Liverpool players were picked by England that year. Says it all really, the FA are f***ing Arseholes
lestajigs Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Have so much hate for hodgson, pissing me off because I'm not feeling the England love, because of him
Fox92 Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Says it all really, the FA are f***ing Arseholes Well yeah, they are. Never give the job to the right man... Brian Clough should have got it all those years ago (and we would have won something under him) but no the FA give it the yes man instead.
NotQuiteAFox Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Fair play to Slutsky! He's doing it for nowt! Yep, what a slut sky.
AjcW Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 Fair play to Slutsky! He's doing it for nowt! I did think that.... but then he gets paid a bajjillllion pounds by CSKA so..

How many England players in the 1st team though.Looking at the Fa cup final line ups.Liverpool started with one English man. Most of the Everton team were English and made the Mexico 86 squad.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 2 June 2016 Posted 2 June 2016 I have the feeling Woy will be on the phone to Drinky tonight after one of the made of glass brigade trips over a blade of grass and ends up crocked! Not wishing this just have a feeling it will happen.

Not wishing this just have a feeling it will happen. unless its Dier, then it wont happen. according to the BBC, he isn't on standby. roy doesn't need him - what an odd decision not to have him on standby, at least until after this friendly
