That's made me feel a bit better. Thought they posted the same stuff to FB and Twitter.

Really hope he stays

Doesn't mean a thing, TBH. He's still under contract for the club and a LCFC player scoring for England is good publicity, no matter who it is.

Positive omen, perhaps - but no more.

4/9. 13/8

Clearly some see the value in backing him to leave. If anyone really knows anything, they aren't letting it slip to anyone who's prepared to earn a few quid

Back to 1/3 9/4 through the course of the day. Not sure if it was one jump.

He'll be at Arsenal next season!

Yeah, 11th March  (subject to Sky)

I can tell you that he is not on £70k a week, that is a fact I know, therefore, I make my own assumption about the rest of the article.

Its bollocks...............

Higher or lower?

I did post the fact he turned down the medical over a week ago

Do we have any reason to believe this guy is itk?

I'll vouch for Moksky, certainly has credible contacts and is genuinely a top bloke so I personally wouldn't doubt any information that he's been kind enough to pass on.

Looks like poor journalism to me.

its been accepted by the club (via Claudio) that arsenal have triggered the release clause. they did indeed have to do it by 3 june which is why they made the written offer that day. vardy delaying his decision makes no difference now. the offer was made in writing by the date it needed to be. if he goes then they will only have to pay the release fee (though we have no idea what that amount actually is). it could be nearer to 30 mill but vardy delaying will not increase the cost to arsenal, should he decide to join them.

I still think he will leave, especially if he scores a few more goals in this tournament...

And if Giroud keeps playing poorly.

If it is true though, about the date. At least if he turns Arsenal down, we won't be looking over our shoulders regarding him again.

ARSENAL BLOW AS JAMIE VARDY RELEASE CLAUSE CLIMBS 50 PER CENT – TRANSFER EXPERT

17th June, 2016, 8:58 AM

By London correspondent Tony Hughes

Jamie Vardy’s release clause has risen by 50 per cent to £30million, according to a report by a transfer expert.

Arsenal are waiting for Vardy to decide on a transfer from Leicester after triggering the striker’s £22million release clause at the start of June.

However, Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed on his own website that the full release clause is now £30million, nearly a £10million increase.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger made his move at the start of June after learning that Vardy has a release clause in the £70,000-a-week contract he signed with Leicester in February.

The agreement is understood to state that the release clause had to be triggered by a Champions League club by a specific date, which is understood to be 3 June.

It is unclear as to whether the reported subsequent increase in Vardy’s release clause would in any way effect how much Arsenal would have to pay for the player. It would be a shattering blow for the club if the striker’s hesitation in moving to Emirates Stadium cost the Londoners such a huge sum.

The 29-year-old striker demonstrated his clinical qualities once again on Thursday as he scored the equaliser for England in their 2-1 win over Wales after coming off the bench at half-time.

It was Vardy’s fourth England goal in five matches and continued his brilliant domestic form, with his 24 Premier League goals spearheading Leicester’s Premier League title triumph.

Di Marzio, the son of an Italian football manager, is renowned as a superbly well-connected journalist who breaks global transfer stories for both Sky Italy and on his own website.
