Everyone was kissing Savage's arse when he was defending us against the Spurs trolls!

Everyone? Haven't given him the time of day since he left.

Why does Savage lick us out one minute then turn into a proper shit stain the next. He's about as fickle as they come. Idiot.

It's frustrating that due to the Euros, this is now likely to turn into a month-long saga.

Trouble is, it's probably only the start of a summer of uncertainty for our whole squad.

Obviously it would have been better for everyone involved if this had been wrapped up last week.

We've seen it before - nearly every insurgent club struggles to break through into the established elite because after a successful season, they struggle to keep hold of their best players, meaning they have to start from scratch the following season.

Will the money from the new TV deal change this trend? The football historians may well look back on this summer as a tipping point in football economics. Equally, they may not.

Personally though I'm just enjoying the fact that JV is at least considering turning down a club like Arsenal to stay with us. Shows how far we've come at the end of the day.

I think Vardy owes us plenty but if he wants to move then so be it. In this case, loyalty has happened- twice we could've have given up on him (after his first season and after last season- bitten the bullet, said he wasn't good enough and moved him on) but we decided to keep faith.

However, he has a career and if he believes it would be better off elsewhere then that is his call.

Because most realise that parlour likely knows nothing new. Money talks and the odds say no one really knows

I know St Albans yet the story the other way round was no more definitive yet getting on for 200 pages. Just my observation on the propensity on here to overreact and drama queen before any full facts are known!

One of these little buggers with matching yellow hair got a passport and flew over to England and became a footballer and latterly a football pundit .....

This is just pure guess work on his part, surely. If Vardy was indeed staying, there would've been some form of statement from one of the three parties, it makes no sense to stay quiet. That is unless it's just a twisted experiment to see how many FT pages can be written on the subject.

Similarly there would have been some form of statement from one of the parties if there was a chance of him leaving?

All I've seen are newspaper/twitter rumours and pundits' comments
