shade Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 I see, so it was all made up by the papers and Vardy will turn down any increase in money. yes, he'll actually ask for a wage decrease, he feels that money has torn the soul out of the modern game, that all he wanted when he was a kid kicking a ball about in the park was to score goals, win games and have a great time doing it. he never once thought about how much money it would earn him. in fact, if someone had told him he would win the premier league and be on £4,000,000 a year he would have hated the though of what football had become. if someone then told him he might want to leave the club he enjoyed playing football at, scoring loads of goals and fitted him like a glove, for a few thousand pounds more a week, he would have spat in their face! that's how I know it just can't be true...
weller54 Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Looks rather close to wilshire Does he push his wheelchair?
shade Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 at least vards is getting used to what it will be like at Arsenal, turgid possession football passing around in midfield with him on the the bench, good lad.
filbertstreet Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 must be staying otherwise he'd at least have been subbed on this evening
Vardinio'sCat Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Loving Danny Simson's work right now, keep working those phones lad... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36510489
MPH Posted 12 June 2016 Author Posted 12 June 2016 Totally agree with Simpsons sentiments.. Trouble for Vardy of course is that in a years time he will be 30 and that's a little bit more of a psychological barrier to suitors.. For example, Arsenal have a policy of only offering a 1 year deal to any of their current players who are over 30...

Moksky Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Does Mosky know what he is talking about? Any veterans on here know? My betting portfolio impatiently awaits your responses. I know these are facts. As I said I am not 100% sure whether he has made up his mind. But the other figures and events are true.
jim5000 Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Is your source Ray Parlour? I think it's the HP he had with his chips earlier!
lgfualol Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Hodgson is doing us a favour really. Keeping Vardy on the bench so that he realises sitting on the bench could be him at Arsenal if he moves.
st albans fox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Odds drifting slowly back again over past 36 hours. drifted on staying by half a point and hardened on going by the same. 2/5 and 7/4.

RonnieTodger Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Savage just doesn't think before he speaks does he. All Vardy would achieve at Arsenal is 4th and getting knocked out the last 16 of the Champions League.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Jack Wilshire has said, "Cough! Hack! Wheeeeez! Cough! Cough! Help me!"
