He played mainly as a 10 in the Euroes. I think that's where we would want to use him.

I never seen him play but have read that he has amazing stamina.

Perhaps he could play No 10 or the main attacking player in CM in a 4-3-3. If he has quality on the ball offensively and can get back and make the MF a three without the ball he would be ideal for us.

I suspect a bit like Gray he'd get a decent amount of game time this season but not quite first XI week in week out.

Has there been any signs from pre-season matches that CR might be entertaining playing a 433?

Not that I know of. I cant imagine him changing a formation that just walked the league though.

Me neither but its been the talk of the forum for a while now and I can't see where it's come from or that Ranieri has ever done much but variations of 442 his entire career!

I thought we tried it second half against Celtic... although that might have been the 8th Stella I had.

I guess with the loss of Kante who effectively made up an extra person in the middle leaves the two in a 4-4-2 quite weakened. So a three would alleviate this and help plug the huge Kante shaped gap. Musa, Grey, Mahrez, Schlupp would all suit the right and left forward positions too.

We need to be compact to play on the break and be able to attack and defend with width.....

Just can't see 433 being up our street / effective.

Hello, i'm some random dude from Poland, i've found this topic by accident and decided to join discission.

What i can tell you guys is that you can be sure, that Kapustka has a good mentality and is fisically strong. He must be, if he plays in national team. You probably do not know that, but our coach is Adam Nawałka, a long time friend of Boniek, and they played together. The thing is, Nawałka is super crazy about things like tactical responsibility, fast return to defensive, and ability to play 120 minutes for 100%.

That's what you can be sure. Personnaly i wish him a good season and a lot's of goals and assist if he plays for you guys.

Afterall, good Kapustka in PL and Leicester City F.C means good Kapustka in National Team.

If anyone should know he will

The last bit of the article translated is;

... promising profile , transaction closed on the basis of 6,000,000 and exchange of documents currently ongoing . Tomorrow the medical tests , then Claudio Ranieri will embrace Bartosz Kapustka

I've given several insights on Kapustka so far.

He may be only 19, but he almost looks as though he's been playing senior football for years. No fear, great tactical awareness, and has phenomenal skills.

He is primarily a left-sided AM for Cracovia (they play 4-2-3-1, with Kapustka on the left of the three), however he can play in the central-, or even right-sided roles too. He even played right-back for the national team during a pre-Euros friendly, just proving how versatile he can be. With his age and adaptability, he should theoretically have no problem picking up Ranieri's style.

He'll likely be incoming as one for the future, but I'd expect him to pick up chances in the first team as Gray has done. He's done so for the national team, and while he may not be first choice there, he's done enough to show he's more than capable of replacing Grosicki if needed.

In the national team, Robert Lewandowski has practically taken him under his wing, and has played a fairly significant part in his recent development - offering advice both on- and off-the-pitch. But not even Lewandowski was as highly-rated in Poland at the time of his departure than Kapustka is. There are realky, really high hopes for him.

However a deal doesn't look quite close to being done just yet - here he is this morning heading to a training camp with Cracovia.
