If my Football Manager (I know, I know) memory serves - I think it's u21 players that have been here at least two years? He doesn't need to be registered for the Prem, though?
Finnegan Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 Follow up on the above: What is the B list of players? A player may be registered on List B if he is born on or after 1 January 1994 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday by the time he is registered with UEFA. Players aged 16 may be registered on List B if they have been registered with the participating club for the previous two years without interruption. Each club is entitled to register an unlimited number of players on List B during the season. The list must be submitted by no later than midnight CET on the day before the match in question. http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/newsid=2277105.html I knew the thousands of hours sunk in to that game had some purpose.
FireFox Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 @Finnegan Damn, so Gray will count toward our UEFA 25* man squad.

m4DD0gg Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 I seem to remember the same sort of buzz about a certain andrej kramaric. Raved about in his own country which has a poor league. Played international football and european football. That worked out well.

I hear what you're saying and I have caution regards Kaputska but they have much different reputations. The Polish are universally excited about this kid and just threw him in as a starter in a major tournament. Outside Rijeka, Kramaric had noway near this hype. Besides, Kramaric is a good footballer that didn't fit our system or even one ethos. Ranieri essentially described him as lazy, being the main reason he never got a look in. Kaputska is described as being very fit, with bags of stamina and bags of willingness to work and track back.
st albans fox Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 Need to get this done and dusted before Everton come sniffing!
StanSP Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 Not to put any jinx on it, but I'm amazed there aren't any other clubs officially bidding for this lad at such a cheap price. Or is it a must that 'bigger' clubs have to spend upwards of £20m/30m to satisfy themselves that they've bought a decent enough player?
sw_fox Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 Polish TV reporting this is nearly a done deal. His name means tiny little cabbage in Polish- if he signs we need to incorporate this into a song for him!

mozartfox Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 Hopefully news of a physical examination will follow soon.

Highest potential to come out of Poland since Lewandowski apparently... And can play almost anywhere in midfield. Some have said he needs the physicality of the premier league to tough him up a bit. Picks wrong pass sometimes or doesn't pass at all but young and will learn. Exciting prospect.

Koke Posted 27 July 2016 Posted 27 July 2016 Is he an attacking midfielder or a winger? We could do with a number 10.

He was young, scored an obscene amount of goals, linked with the best clubs and from a country with great footballing pedigree. Okay it never worked out for him here, we took a chance and lost but we still got a decent wedge back for him so he never cost us that much. I'm happy for my club to buy players like this who are young and very highly rated. If the worst happens and he's done little in two years we can probably still make our money back selling him to a lower Bundesliga team. Just like the Demarai Gray transfer of £3.75m you're almost guaranteed to get your money back selling them at 21/22 if they haven't lived up to expectations. Someone like Gray will probably be worth £20m+ at some point so that pays for a lot more of these type of signings.

One didn't work... so surely no others will.
