Everyone looked dreadful bar Akinfeev to be fair, and even he didn't have much to do.

 

Same old England.

 

Plenty of fancy stuff but never looked like scoring or conceding.

You have to worry about England really. Very possible you could beat us tomorrow and still finish third.

With this Slovakia side getting better and better and with us pretty likely to beat Russia, if you get nothing out of the game tomorrow you're probably going home.

Really putting England's performance into perspective isn't it? Said on Saturday we were terrible, despite what all the pundits claimed and Slovakia are making us look like mugs now. I think everyone but Russia is getting out of the group but we could end up with a really tough knockout game.

Watching Russia today makes me realise even more how potty Woy Hodgson actually is. Russia are one of the worst teams in the tournament and not going for it, to kill the game off against them was an incredible bit of bad judgement.

Leaving Kane on (who looked exhausted and looked like he did when playing for Leicester) and not giving Vardy 20 mins or so was bizarre. Just bizarre.

England were poor. Let's face it. I'd rather play like Leicester, Atletico, Iceland or Slovakia and give up possession but win games.

A draw against Portugal was a win for Iceland!

Could be argued that it causes 'disturbance' in the crowd though...

It sets a precedent that they won't want to stick to.

If they kick the Russians out for a flare, they've got to warn everyone else that let's one off with disqualification.

Plus they really, really don't want any team to drop out of the tournament because the ridiculous best third place thing becomes a minefield of permutations if they do.

If we all have our game vs Russia stricken off then we have less chance of points than other groups. If we all get a one nil win, we have less chance of goal difference than teams in other groups. If we all get a default two or three nil when then we get MORE goal difference so then the OTHER teams kick off.

It'll be a nightmare.

It's a bit sickening to think how good we could actually be if only we had a decent manager. I was shocked when no subs had been made after 60 mins v Russia. Kane was shite all game, and Vardy could have run their defence ragged. I'll be gutted if the same happens again tomorrow.
