This game epitomises England under Hodgson. We have some decent players, we are solid...but we attack SO SLOWLY. This gives time for a stubborn defence to get their men back behind the ball and to regroup. Not only is this dull to watch but again the better sides we'll be found out.

Makes me realise how spoilt we've been watching Leicester last season. I wouldn't pay to watch this England team at the moment..

That move summed it up, a potential break and the player takes 7 or 8 touches then passes it backwards allowing the opposition to get back behind the ball. Too many touches, too many cautious backwards passes.

Are kids in England being taught to play this way? Genuinely interested to know how they're coached compared to other countries. Our players always look scared to try anything in case they lose possession so. Slow, turgid football and absolutely no flair!
