Ulloa to Swansea

Not a chance for £10m. I said this last year and again now. Who would we replace him with for £10m as a better target man who's happy to rotate and not start every game?

He's superb at what he does and underrated by so many.

Unless we went and spent £20-25m on a significant upgrade and someone to start every game alongside Vardy I wouldn't even considering accepting.

Totally agree. The leo chant is worth 10mil alone. He has the right attitude and attributes to be a strong rotation player.

Heart says keep , head says good luck to him and hope he nails down a regular starting spot.

Pretty much this, although if we sell we should be able to get more for him. His chances next season will be limited and whilst it will be useful to bring him on in some games we can definitely improve on Leo if he goes. I would wish him well should he leave, but I would really miss his chant.

Keep for me. Ulloa has a natural strikers instinct in the box, knows where to position himself. He can bring others into the game with his hold up play, and tries his best every match both attacking and defensively. Leo played a key role for us when needed last season, particularly in the latter stages of the campaign where he was terrific.

I've said it before about Ulloa, if he plays regularly just as Vardy does, he would get 10-15 goals I reckon. His best form tends to be with regular game time, if Swansea give him that then they've got a very good striker on their books. Even with us though, he doesn't play regularly but does the job required, and most importantly, scores goals. 6 goals last season with a majority of the time coming off the bench. If we look at the two seasons he's had with us thus far - 11 league goals (14-15) and 6 league goals (15-16).

Keep for me.

The article:

"Swansea City are launching an ambitious bid to sign Leicester's Leonardo Ulloa, as they prepare for the exits of Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis. Ulloa is high on Swansea's list of striker targets with head coach Francesco Guidolin ready to make an opening offer of around £10million for the Argentinian. Leicester's 16m capture of Ahmed Musa has threatened to further restrict Ulloa's first-team opportunities in the forthcoming season and Swansea want to offer him a fresh start in south Wales. Signed from Brighton for an initial fee of £8million in July 2014, Ulloa was a key player under Nigel Pearson but grew frustrated at a lack of chances last season, starting only seven Premier League games.

Swansea are desperate for more firepower with France international Gomis heading for the exit after being left out of the club's pre-season tour of the United States. Ayew is also pushing for a move away from the Liberty Stadium after only 13 months at the club and Guidolin fears being left short of attacking options. Ulloa is on Swansea's list of possible replacements and a bid is expected later this month.  The 29-year-old scored twice against Swansea in Leicester's 4-0 win at the King Power Stadium in April. Leicester do not want to weaken their squad as they prepare for the Champions League but the prospect of regular football could persuade Ulloa to make the move."

Swap deal for Sigurdsson I can see happening.

Hell no, we shouldn't sell any of the team who played a part last season.  There is no one better who will happily be a squad player.

I don't buy that argument. Kante if he went would he show loyalty? If Vardy wasn't offered 100K a week, would he be loyal?

We need to be ruthless, buy a better younger player like Slimani. No time for sentiment.

Don't sell. Offers something different to everyone in the squad and is a proven goalscorer at this level, probably could be pushing 17 goals a season if he started all the games last season. It's not like we need the money either.

Plus we'd probably end up paying more for an equal quality replacement who won't be happy to sit on the bench like Ulloa is.

I love Leo but I'd let him go to play every week like a mother bird watching its chick fledge and fly away to a better life. Only with an eight figure check under its wing.

It isn't loyalty, it is keeping together a group of player who collectively learnt how to win win win. If you start picking away at it, or if you add the wrong people, it could go just like that.

In games we'll have more of the ball...

Vardy

Musa    Sigurdsson    Mahrez

Kante   Drinkwater

In games we'll have less of the ball...

Vardy

Albrighton........................................Mahrez

Kante.....Mendy.....Drinkwater

He doesn't really suit our style of play that well. Reason being, we don't really get balls in the box to him but he's great as a hold up player and a decent plan B.

Bottom line is £10 million is not a bad offer indeed to ponder whichever direction we choose to go in with strikers.

Don't think I'd sell him for 10 mill now. 10 mill (ridiculously) is worth sod all at the moment and I think he's worth more to the club than sod all.

Like him or not, he IS now an established Prem striker. So 10 mill don't seem enough. Crazy I know.

IF it was a swap for Gylfi though...snap their hands off. Even with a few quid extra.

Who cares if he only started 7 games, he was a very very important player, as much - if not more important than Okazaki in all honesty with Ulloa's defensive attributes.

I'd take 15m mind you, but we can get 3 solid years out of him yet.

In the current transfer market he's got to be worth 20 million. I'd let him go for that if we've got another striker coming in

Swap for Gilfy would be great, but i dont see it happening

as article suggesting Gomis and Ayew are leaving and if Gilfy goes too there will be no one in attacking zone

10mil not enough,15 maybe

and i think he will have more playtime than Okazaki if he stays

Let's keep him for this season and see how it pans out,he gives us a different option upfront with his height,we can't just play one way with pace pace pace we need to switch it up sometimes and keep teams guessing

Swap for Siggurdson and £5 mill!!!

now you are talking!

I don't think this is a question of sentiment. It maybe that Leo realises he will get fewer chances to play and wants to leave. If so, good luck to him
