Ulloa to Swansea

Wouldn't sell for 30 million. Gives us exactly what it says on the tin. Has always delivered when needed too West ham at home and Swansea spring to mind. Always puts a shift in and can be relied upon. Would like to see him partner Vardy up front this season think it could pay dividends. If Deeney is valued at 30 million (what a joke that is) Ulloa is worth that and more. He scores goals at premier league level too.

If someone genuinely bid £30m I would accept but I take your point. When motivated the guy is an animal. He's horrible to mark and so effective for us.

And in all seriousness if he played the same minutes as Deeney (ie 90mins most games) he would score 12-16 league goals. That's been proven. He did it.

People will be sorely sorely mistaken if they truly believe Leo Ulloa should leave for £10m!!!

He doesn't really suit our style of play that well. Reason being, we don't really get balls in the box to him but he's great as a hold up player and a decent plan B.

Bottom line is £10 million is not a bad offer indeed to ponder whichever direction we choose to go in with strikers.

First post on the forum, was definitely worth the year you waited to make it lol

He is a very effective plan B, excellent for defending a slim lead, good for set plays, great at helping defend corners and seems a great character to have in the squad. Really don't think we should sell, certainly not for £10m

In the CL, we might well need plan B n C from the Bench.

Plus if others need a rest, hes proven he can start games and score.

I would keep him if he wants to stay.

Price tag..he must be worth 12-15 mil. Proven goalscorer, when asked

to start, or step in.

Dont use Deeney has a measure...Watford knew we wouldnt pay 30m,

they didnt want to lose him, and city wouldnt pay silly sums.

Not really a case of who you get for 10m it's a wage off the books that can be added to a better player.

Also means we can add that to what we have to replace him or buy us another player on top.

Also don't get this major part in last season.

Yes he got some vital goals but was not a major part.

I didn't say he was a major part?

He definitely could be if he started and played more as shown the previous year when he got 14, and he made some very good appearances off the bench last year.

And his wages will be average i'd say in our squad so won't save us too much at all i wouldn't have thought.

But think we're saying the same in that if we were to sell him for £10m i would only do if it meant bringing in a better player to replace him

I don't like this. He's gotten us out of jail on a few occasions, particularly the run-in, last season.

Yes, he can drift out of matches and go through dry spells. But I just can't forget the way he rescued that point for against West Ham - the pressure he was under must have been unbearable - and, had he missed, things could have gone very differently for us. Yes, we might have hung on anyway to clinch the title, but it's the principle that he delivered under such pressure and an ominous atmosphere that should never be forgotten. Then to bag 2 goals in the very next game, with the pressure of the Vardy suspension and the over zealous Pochettino and his cronies making it public at every opportunity that they were praying for our downfall, also the Norwich game after the loss to Arsenal, etc, etc..

Who's to say we won't be in a situation in the league or CL where a few attacking players are out injured or form has dried up, we bring on Leo and he rescues things for us again?? Muscle memory and all that! Hope we do the decent thing and keep him.

This would be a real shame. I was quite critical of him during 2014/15 but I have huge respect for him now. I don't think we've had many more heroic players in our history. The penalty against West Ham, followed by the two goals against Swansea and the absolute warriors performance at Old Trafford when he was running on fumes, his run of three games deserves to go down in history.

I like Ulloa and would hope we would treat this bid with the contempt it deserves . His touch might not be first class but the wife says mine isn't either and we're still together................................................

This Sigurdsson swap deal talk is pure fantasy. How many swap deals have there ever been? Only ones I can remember is Cole & Gallas, and Eto'o & Ibrahimovic.

wasn't sigurdsson to swansea a swap deal?

Mare on my behalf if it was but it actually rings a bell now you say it.

Hahaha it was as well. Point kind of stands as it's very rare but you never know.

As mentioned above the man helped deliver the title by holding his nerve when the pressure was on last season and he fully deserves a crack at Champions League football.

Plus 10 million is a joke offer.

Love Leo. We wouldn't have stayed up without him the season before last and he scored a few important goals last season too. Would be happy for him if ge goes to get first team football. He's been a very positive signing in my eyes

Far and away our biggest threat from set-pieces and helps out on them at the back. Does his best to fit into our style of play even though its not tailor-made for him. Think every team needs a big man amongst their attacking options.

On reflection I wouldn't sell unless it was an offer we couldn't refuse.

Yeah and his attitude is second to none. Not heard a murmur of discontent from him despite his limited chances. You need characters like him in your squad

If he is happy to play second fiddle and come on in a handful of matches as a sub, play some cup games and be a replacement incase of injury I think we should keep him. I love the guy and he seems to love the club he also offers height and strength with a massive aerial threat as well as being able to come back and defend corners,

Hope he stays.

If we have a player that is happy to do what you say then get rid now.

We have just won the premier league.

We do not need or want another Logan.

Explain the last line better.

If a player is happy to sit on the bench (as Lpgan did)fvck em off.

Every player needs to fight for a place not be happy to be here.

If they are happy to be here fvck em off.

Oh fvck it am drunk but some will get what I mean lol lol
