Ulloa to Swansea

As much as I like Leo we can't be held to financial ransom by every single player.

Rewarding everyone with a bumper contract will lead to financial ruin - they got a hefty bonus from the sounds of things they should be happy.

For that reason alone we should cash in. Better to save money in this instance.

Or maybe, if this is about his contract, he just wants a fairer deal?

Let's pay him according to the minutes he plays, that should save the club a few quid.

Ill be sorry to see him go, but if he's not happy being a squad player then we don't have much choice.

"A fairer deal" so more money then.

None of us know who earns what but is it fair that one forward is on xxxx amount and the other is only on xx amount?

What if, He's been a sub for most of the last 2 seasons, sees the club buying improved talent, and , get this, actually would rather play football?

ULLOA WANTS OUT

Leonardo Ulloa wants to leave Premier League champions Leicester City following tension at the club, according to Sky sources.

Swansea and a number of Spanish clubs are said to be interested in him, but it’s more likely he will remain in England.

Leicester aren’t willing to improving his contract and with new strikers have coming in, means he may fall down the pecking order.

Whoever has written that piece for the Sky Sports Transfer Centre needs sacking lol

The last sentence doesn't make sense

Well if we're going by that rule say goodbye to much of the squad, including Ulloa, King, James, Chilwell...

Yes.

What if all the other forwards are on better contracts?

He isnt a first team regular. He cant expect to have the same money as the regulars...

'and with the StrikerS coming in' plural.

So may be there is another coming in?

So you wouldn't pay King the same as Drinkwater?

But this is what happens when certain payers get huge pay rises and other contracts are just left (if this is about money - of course, it might not be and there might actually be "tension" of somesort).

If one is significantly better and more important, yeah it's entirely fair.

Surprised by his attitude if he's trying to force the move to get a contract - the guy has a chance to play in the Champions league AND get a better chance at international level for Chile. But if wants to go then lets cash in and make a signing to replace him. Would have loved to have seen Callum Wilson here but he's signed a new contract so doubt that will happen. We will need a striker for plan B though so someone with a bit of bulk and ability to hold the ball up - NOT Benteke though...!

This is why it seems so weird. Surely it can't just be down to a contract.

Even the strongest team spirit can be torn apart by money. All footballers are greedy, every single one of them!

By fairer I take it you mean more money?

So you agree with his original point then and your suggestion is pretty much the same... he wants more cash.

If Leo goes we will desperately need another big man like him. I would love islam slimani but if we can't get him hopefully the scouts are out there monitoring someone of his ilk.

If Leo is not ok with being a squad player then perhaps it is best he leaves.

I don't know, I was only guessing, I'm not Raneiri.

Trying to get a decent contract while his stock is high I guess. He's 29 so it makes sense from his view knowing he'll be on the bench the majority of the season. I'll miss him. Scored some important goals over the past 2 seasons.

If this is true, I will say this to him, Kante, Mr Walsh (sadly) and others now departed/looking for a move away.

STOP LETTING YOUR EGOS GETTING IN THE WAY OF WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO BUILD HERE!

We, the fans, our owners and most of all Mr Ranieri deserve so much more than this.

Time to get Slimani in.
