ARM1968 Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Financial stupidity to let a man go who literally prints our owners money. Why would they do it? Unless it's time to kill the golden goose of course.
Soar Fox Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Rudkin is highly thought of by the owners. He's like the annoying bloke at work who's useless at his job but always gets promotions as you see him browning nosing the gaffers daily.
dylanlegend Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Ridiculous!! this is the beginning of the end for us, if we aren't careful. There has to be more than money to this? Maybe SW has had a disagreement with someone at the club? As AF said last season SW is the most influential man in the 15-16 season, deserved to be on a similar wage to CR
dylanlegend Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Looks like we'll go back to the days of signing washed up crap again!
dylanlegend Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 The owners simply cannot let this happen, if they do it doesn't matter the amount of free beer and pizza they give us, they have lost the plot!

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Bollocks. Can't help feeling our golden era has peaked as quickly as it started as the team that assembled a special group of players is dismantled. Expect to see us struggling to avoid relegation in a couple of years
st albans fox Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 One thing I overlooked is the NG situation and potential mahrez negotiations. maybe Walsh wasn't happy with the way the club have handled NG's contract. He worked hard to get him here in the first place and the fact the club didn't pre empt with a big offer early on in may have annoyed him. Waiting and hoping no one would come in has turned out to be a complete failure. Similarly with riyad. If Walsh sees his players not reaching their peak at the club he brought them to, perhaps that's telling him he should look elsewhere. Trying to make sense of why, money apart, he would consider going when I know he was more than happy with the role he has here.
dbtcity Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 This whole whoever is unhappy/ doesn't want to be here can leave is the wrong way to go about things it's literally giving everyone regardless of how important they are to us free rain of just f**king off whenever they feel like it lowering our chances of getting the best fee possible!!
Ricey Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 If we lose him to Everton, there is no way the owners can put a positive spin on it. We have no idea what Jon Rudkin is like, but he has no experience of scouting or unearthing players, nor the contact list that Walsh has. It's a massive gamble to let Walsh leave because they trust Rudkin to carry on doing his job. If he wants to be a Director of Football then we make him Director of Football at Leicester City, That is how important he is.
StanSP Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 I don't doubt we've tried to keep Walsh at the club, but we surely could have done more to make him stay. Walsh leaving pains me more than Kante leaving did.
Jace Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Remember how mad we thought the owners were for getting rid of Pearson this time last year and then Cambiasso leaving? I thought we were doomed yet they told us to trust them, think I'll find it even harder this time around if its true
nettle Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Maybe Walsh isn't having as much say on who we bring in as he did last season.
TrentFox Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 We do like a conspiracy theory on here, don't we? Maybe he's just been here a while and fancies a change and a move back towards 'home'? Has nobody else ever lost their edge at work, after a while, and start looking for new jobs just to keep themselves fresh?
dylanlegend Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Someone needs to stand in and sort this mess out, Rudkin sounds like a complete ****. The club need to reject any approach for SW, isn't he under contract? If he leaves then sue for £100million + as is proved by the current value of our team minus what we paid for it
Ricey Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Just now, TrentFox said: We do like a conspiracy theory on here, don't we? Surely the challenge of putting together a squad for the Champions League is too good to resist?

Danno Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 If we lose both him and Mahrez for pennies there has to be demonstrations outside the ground against that muppet rudkin.
Poznan34 Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 Surely the owners can see how much he is worth to us? Even just taking Kante that's a £25m profit. Can't we just offer him more money if that's what he's after?
StanSP Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 10 minutes ago, TrentFox said: You would assume so, but maybe not. Maybe sometimes you just want a change?? Everton get bought out by a multi-billionaire. Everton seek one of the best scouts there is who has a recent successful track record of scouring the world for players. Everton throw money at said scout. I very much doubt it just boils down to Walsh just 'wanting a change'. This is the price of success, though. Just don't think anyone saw it kicking in so quickly.
Jace Posted 18 July 2016 Posted 18 July 2016 He's probably just waiting for someone on Foxestalk to write an open letter
