I could just about get over Kanté going because I knew that at least Walsh would be able to replace him. With Walsh going I think we can wave bye bye to dreams of competing again. He was the real saviour.

the only "poaitive" is that the recruitment network must surely be in place and we cant lose all the scouts, although weshould be in a position now where we go for proven established players rather than lower division stars

Well this looks set to be the worst title defence since Jimmy Savile's knighthood.

Seriously what is up with our owners??? The heart of the club is being ripped out and they don't seem to be doing much about it!

Because Rudkin has their ear and he thinks he's up to the job, like everything else he thinks he's great at.

Calm down. It's not like he doesn't leave behind a structure with other staff capable of implementing it on an ongoing basis.

Have some confidence ffs.

will shakey take up Nigel's offer to go to derby now?

Would be perfect. Win league, Lose Kante to 10th place team, lose Walsh to the 2nd best team in Liverpool and shakers to championship.

At least Rudkin could be our new assistant managers

You think all the people left behind won't be poached if they are any good?

Coincidence that we started advertising for video analyst positions today?!

It's our diplomatic line " if people are unhappy, we won't stand in their way " which is making us look a bit of a joke. It's fairly obvious that players and coaches can force a move when unhappy but that doesn't mean you roll over at first sign of unhappiness and just let them go fairly easily.

Ok, we don't know what's gone on but this last few days has been unreal and it could well unsettle others and cause massive unrest. How this is happening at a time that we are our most strongest in the history of our existence makes it even more baffling.

I feel very disillusioned right now.

This is starting to stink. I know people are quick to point the finger but this summer has been nothing short of a disaster (You can try and cover it up but we've lost our best player, our chief scout and we were publicly taken for a ride by a 29 year old striker).

The blame for all this lays solely at Rudkins feet. Poor contract negotiations on the clubs behalf and now it seems as if he's given Walsh the push (You can guarantee he did not make maximum effort to keep Walsh here to ensure his own job security).
