We haven't got a big enough squad to be able to sell any more players. I get we've got Kapustka, Gray, Mahrez and Albrighton, but Jeff offers something individual in his directness which can impact our game. We need his pace particularly as we play on the counter attack.

sdb Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Would be disappointed to see him go. Versatile, quick and powerful. I'm sure we'll see more of 4-5-1 this season and he'd be valuable in that. He's an academy graduate too... £12 mill isn't enough given all of that in the current climate.

telford78 Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Hi im an Albion fan in peace. reading the comments it seems Schlupp is highly regarded by a lot of you We have been linked with the lad for a while so it would be nice to finally see this one over the line. Pace to burn and he always seemed to give us (well Craig Dawson anyway) a very torrid time. Good luck for the season, will be tough to replicate last season I think but what a season that was...

West Brom season before last when he was the only person in the stadium that had no idea he had the length of the pitch to himself, Sunderland away when he had no idea we were safe, West Ham away when I was sitting in the from row and I thought I would get a black eye when he fell over in front of me and of course the countless times he would go from world class to eating grass. Love you Jeff. £13m though hahahahaha.

Craig Dawson is a hero as well, I swear we would have gone down had he used his other foot to clear Huths header and then he did Spurs over.

Well that's the conundrum with Schlupp. If I had to pin just one position on him, I'd go for left wing back. He's proved he is capable in all positions, down the left hand side. £12m....hard to judge in today's market tbh.
