12 mil? sorry but I'd take that! He can be deadly on his day but 99% of the time he doesn't know what he's doing

I'll miss him for that reason though

wish we would have sold for £12 mill and  bought Williams for £12 mill from Swansea

We are fine in that area, also it's fun to watch Mahrez take the piss outta him again, when we play them

£12m, yep take that. But I did like the option of Schlupp and Amartey warming our bench, as they both are essentially utility players, who can do a quality job in numerous positions, with bags of energy. It will be a lost option.

Seem to remember Ranieri saying last season that Chilwell is the other LB option for Fuchs - although schlupp did play a few mins there on Sunday. But if that's the case we are well covered wide with Albrighton Mahrez Gray and Kapustka who will all be in or around the 18 week in week out, and Musa and Vardy can play either side in a front 3. Could be that Claudio has decided he doesn't need 5 players who are primarily wingers in his first-team group and the money gives us a helping hand to getting a couple more players who he does feel he needs as part of a group of 20 or so players - another CB or RB / CM or CF. I cannot believe we would let a player go from our group without a plan b and plan c to bring at least one more in. Go well Jeff.

Very surprised, and not pleased.

He can be a headless chicken but his raw power and pace scare the life out of defenders, particularly late in games off the bench. Realistically that's how he'd be used. If we could work on his crossing and shooting he could be insane but that may be beyond him at this stage. Simply keeping the crosses in play and scaring defenders is enough to keep him though. If he is happy not to be a starter then keep him. He isn't worth the valuation but at the same time he offers enough we would struggle to replace him as a sub or reserve.

It is their third bid.

He's a valuable asset to us IMO. It's most likely game time though, and at West Brom he'd get that more regularly.

Let's not let sentiment rule too much here. 12 mill, that's gets you Andros Townsend or Aron Lennon (ish)..Jeff is behind 4 wingers and 2 other left backs. It's over.
