FoxyPalace.com Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Lloyd Dyer type player. Wasteful most of the time, but one his day can be great. Run and take the cash.

He can be deadly on his day but 99% of the time he doesn't know what he's doing I'll miss him for that reason though wish we would have sold for £12 mill and bought Williams for £12 mill from Swansea
themightyfin Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 As much as I love Jeff he does sometimes run around like he has his head stuck up an ostrich's arse
BigWesMorgan Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Decent on his day. But his day doesn't happen very often. Don't see him getting that much better and he isn't "Young" anymore (24 in December). And for 12 Mil? Yes please.
Kilworthfox Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Fabulous deal £12 million, for a guy who is strong lloyd dyer.
Foxymcoxy Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Don't need the money, do need a settled squad, do need Jeff. Keep.
Unabomber Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 What would people realistically take? I'd say £15m

FoxinNotts Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 £12m, yep take that. But I did like the option of Schlupp and Amartey warming our bench, as they both are essentially utility players, who can do a quality job in numerous positions, with bags of energy. It will be a lost option.
nettle Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Maybe Schlupp wants out to get first team football. 12m decent money for him in my opinion.
filbertstreet Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 knowing jeff he probably thinks joining the baggies is sellotaping his weed
Great Boos Up Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 OK, that seems realistic and the best for Schlupperman, but if true I will so miss him.
Cropwellfox Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Seem to remember Ranieri saying last season that Chilwell is the other LB option for Fuchs - although schlupp did play a few mins there on Sunday. But if that's the case we are well covered wide with Albrighton Mahrez Gray and Kapustka who will all be in or around the 18 week in week out, and Musa and Vardy can play either side in a front 3. Could be that Claudio has decided he doesn't need 5 players who are primarily wingers in his first-team group and the money gives us a helping hand to getting a couple more players who he does feel he needs as part of a group of 20 or so players - another CB or RB / CM or CF. I cannot believe we would let a player go from our group without a plan b and plan c to bring at least one more in. Go well Jeff.
ARM1968 Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Rather keep Jeff tbf. He never knows what he's doing but then nor do the opposition. I'd be sad to see him go unless real quality came in.

Guest Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 He can be a headless chicken but his raw power and pace scare the life out of defenders, particularly late in games off the bench. Realistically that's how he'd be used. If we could work on his crossing and shooting he could be insane but that may be beyond him at this stage. Simply keeping the crosses in play and scaring defenders is enough to keep him though. If he is happy not to be a starter then keep him. He isn't worth the valuation but at the same time he offers enough we would struggle to replace him as a sub or reserve.

TheMightySystem Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 You watch when it comes out Schlupp has been removed from the squad because of an injury from thinking his iron was a phone.
ronnup Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 Let's not let sentiment rule too much here. 12 mill, that's gets you Andros Townsend or Aron Lennon (ish)..Jeff is behind 4 wingers and 2 other left backs. It's over.
GaelicFox Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 To think they thought Vardy was worth 40% less than Jeff sell him , not a top 10 player
