Vardy is in the England squad for the upcoming qualifiers.

Feel so sorry for Albrighton, he outshines a lot on the call up list.

You'd figure if he was ever going to get a call up, it would be based on how's he's played the last 2-3 months. Fantastic player, and he could offer England something different than their wingers.

A total of 13 Leicester City players could represent their countries this summer with a full schedule of international friendlies and qualifiers planned over the coming months.

The Foxes will yet again enjoy a healthy involvement across the globe before they return to the East Midlands to begin their preparations for the 2017/18 Premier League campaign.

On Tuesday 6 June, at the Stade Mustapha Tchaker,Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani could line-up alongside each other for Algeria when they take on Guinea in preparation for the 2019 AFCON qualification campaign.

After Development Squad pair Harvey Barnes and Elliott Moore helped the England Under-20s reach the Toulon Tournament semi-finals, both will be in contention for the young Lions on Tuesday 8 June.
Mahrez Algeria 4-3
A busy weekend could then see seven Foxes in action. AFCON qualification will again be at stake when South Africa and Nigeria, potentially featuring Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi, lock horns on Saturday 10 June.

Schmeichel may be called upon on the same day as Denmark travel to the Ortalıq Stadion to face Kazakhstan. Jamie Vardy, too, will be with the England camp in Scotland as they resume their World Cup qualification bid.

Sunday 11 June will see Daniel Amartey's Ghana play against Ethiopia while Mahrez and Slimani will be with Algeria for their clash against Togo. Just two days later, on Tuesday 13 June, Vardy will travel with England to France for an international friendly at the Stade de France.

Elsewhere, Shinji Okazaki and Japan will be in Iran for their World Cup qualifier against Iraq. Alex Pascanu, the Club's Academy Player of the Season, could appear for Romania Under-21s against Liechtenstein.
Okazaki Japan 4-3
Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray will join the Three Lions' Under-21s at the UEFA U21 EURO competition in Poland. First up, England meet Sweden on Friday 16 June before their remaining Group A fixtures, against Slovakia and Poland, fall on Monday 19 June and Thursday 21 June.

The latter could see them come up against team-mate Bartosz Kapustka. Young goalkeeper Daniel Iversen, meanwhile, will be in Poland, too, for the Denmark Under-21s.

Amartey's busy summer will then continue with two friendlies against Mexico and and the United States before City stars return home.

Japan are playing Syria in a friendly - kick-off in 20 minutes (11.30 am UK time). It's a warm up for the big WCQ next week v Iraq.

Shinji's rival for the lone striker position, Yuya Osako, is fit again, so Shinji drops back to the bench despite doing well in the last game v Thailand, in which he scored his 50th goal for Japan.

Kasper gets injured so often for a goalkeeper :(

Does he? A niggle earlier this season, and in our first season back in the top flight. Even still, I think he's only missed around 15 games through injury in 6 seasons with us.

Might just be me, but even for a keeper that doesn't seem abnormally high. Same as missing one in every 15 games or so.

You're right, but he has been injured a lot recently. Fortunately not during the title-wining season and only briefly during our return to the top flight, but in this one he's had niggles, a Hernia op and broken his wrist. I think he also missed out on a few games due to concussion.
