But if we concede a few goals that might hurt his confidence. Is our u23 RB any good? Or Maybe Hernandez will play there with Huth or Morgan in the center. Shinji might be preferred if our midfield is a bit weak.

My understanding that for League Cup, you just have to be a registered player, so Benaloune could play, although I just don't see it. I wouldn't be hugely surprised to see some of the "big money" U23 signings on the bench.

Both Musa and Kapustka have to play, you can't spend £16.8m on a player and £7m on a 19 year old Polish international and both of them still fail to get into the reserve team, they'll be questioning what they're doing here.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 17 September 2016 Posted 17 September 2016 I want us to do well in the League Cup, we've got a good history in the competition and I'd love us to add to that with silverware. The FA Cup too, it'd be nice to progress in that and look at getting silverware. Ranieri said pre season the club do want more silverware in the cups, so hopefully we can do that in whatever competition that may be. I'm quite confident in our 'second team' to be honest. We have a lot of strength in depth with quality options.
