Couldn't care two hoots today to be honest.

We won, that's all that mattered this afternoon.

First half sound, second half more shaky...goes for them all today.

He carried Drinkwater today.

I agree, Drinky hasn't fully recovered from his injury yet and  made a lot of mistakes. Amartey did a great job of covering for him. However, it's a fair point that I might be overreacting because it's the first 3 points we've had in a while.:)

I thought Amartey was steady. 6-7 out of 10.

He panicked a couple times today but was generally solid. His role differed with the switch to 4-2-3-1.He was the more defensive of the 2, Drinky seemed to have more freedom. Looking at his performances over the season so far he has improved and looks a good prospect. His reading of the game will improve with more games.

Good steady performance from him today. Aside from a few mistimed tackles here & there, he defended well. The formation suited him better.

Stuck up for the kid all season, for his first regular run in the side, I think he's been a little inconsistent, but that's his age and experience.

On the whole I think he's done a good job, and seems to be growing as a player, game by game.

A couple of years, and he could be one of our top players, but with kids, you just never know, but the signs are good.

Very good today I thought. Growing in confidence and presence. No doubt helped by playing in a slightly more balanced side.

Good on the lad

I hope he gets better and better

jury still out for me but I genuinely hope he proves us all wrong

I'm confused if he proves us ALL wrong then will he turn into a bloody good player like some of us think a just turned 22 year old can be .Or a shite one that can be written of already.

I've never been confused as I recognised his potential from the Start. He a good player still very young in a strange Country playing in a new team with new players in the toughest league in the World and doing very well. He has a lot more to learn and a lot more to give but he;s going to be around for a long time. You can see he's toughening up with his tackle on Noble today and in recent games.

First 30 mins he was first to everything and was very vocal in organizing the midfield. He wasn't as influential for the remainder of the game but still did things as well as he could do.

There was a topic here recently, about what was on Amartey's white shirt that he always wears under his kit, but I can't find it now.

Anyway, turns out it is...

West Brom fans sing that, don't they?

Would love him to score against them, then tear off his LCFC shirt and display that T-shirt to the Baggies fans. :D
