Mickyblueeyes Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Would relegation be fitting end? HOW ABOUT NO ASSHOLE! seriously some of the shit that gets written I am in the wrong profession. I hate how everyone has an opinion on our club all of sudden. How about you concentrate on your club and we'll worry about ours.

It would make all our progress since being relegated to League 1 a waste of time Yeah, sitting in mid-table in the top flight reminiscing about the time we just played in the CL is so much better...

Richard Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 'We've had a shakey start' yet we're 12th. Guardian podcast earlier were talking as if we'd regressed back to 14/15 form. If we'd had this start last season I'm sure we'd all have been pretty pleased with it tbh. We're one of the big boys now and the media are treating us as such
HoustonFox Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Author of that article is a Forest fan. I needn't say any more...
Blizzard Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 After reading this heading I thought this was a troll. I am not even going to read the link. Last year the press, pundits didn't give us much credit until after we were pronounced Champions. This year the press havent written too much good stuff about us. Here's a bit of advice, ignore 90% of what the pundits and the press say, they have an angle, bias and an agenda. On a different note, my prediction is that Man City will be Champions this season.
Bayfox Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Not read the link. But I assume the answer is. Only if you're taking 3 successful relegations and kingy wins l2 to complete the set.

Does he get paid for that? I despair. He's a Forest fan.....that's right Nick Miller who wrote is a Forest fan, he more than once had a sly dig last season.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Fook me! and I got some aggro for daring to discuss the question! this forum...
fazzyfox Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I have my own fairytale ending in mind which involves the Champions League Final, a huge TV screen, a bottle of champagne, a jacuzzi and Rachel Riley.
shailen Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Think from a dramatic point of view it would have the most impact upon neutral fans, but we as Leicester city fans are never going to agree with this statement. The best fairy tale would be us winning all competitions for the next 5 years whilst the big teams struggle to play us.
leftbackinthechangingroom Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 So we go down but win champions league? Still wouldn't take it. Fixture congestion would be an absolute nightmare for starters.
Crinklyfox Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Don't even think it. This club is on a journey to becoming a solid Premier League team and we don't want to be going back to the yo-yo years of promotion followed by relegation. Last years success put us ahead of schedule, a reality check this year would be winning nothing but finishing mid table. Anything less would be failure and at worst a nightmare end to the dream.
shiltz Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Wouldn't give this guy any credibility as a journalist. Compares City to a quick burnout to celebrity existence - Jimi Hendrix/Jeff Buckley/James Dean and John Lennon..........Lennon??..............he became famous in 1960 and died in 1980?? Needs to research facts first before writing drivel and shite!
Winchesterfox Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 If the first few weeks are anything to go by, there are too many bad teams this season for us to finish anywhere near the bottom.
foxinsocks Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 The sky is falling and we must tell the king.... Why are people so negative. ... we have a problem to solve this year... but so do many other clubs. Eg. Are west ham doomed is it the end for sunderland watford burnley etc etc. Stop giving ip on our team and support them!
EGBFitness Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 I hate how much our success last year was supposingly 'luck' or 'given to us'. Luck or given to us is getting an easy cup run and winning on penalties for example, there was 38 games we played last season and after everyone had played them all we finished top by 10 clear points - that is neither luck or given to us. We have started this season poor, it is always going to be a hard year this season with the additional games, weight of expectation and teams adjusting to our style more. Although I'm disappointing in some of our games (Hull, Liverpool and United) I don't believe we will get relegated or instantly dismiss the players we have. Come November we will look good again once we've got the champions league nerves out the way (hopefully nearly qualified) and players have settled/fitness back up. I hate the media sometimes.
Chico1958 Posted 27 September 2016 Posted 27 September 2016 Fairy tale would be: Claudio goes in to the woods and discover a load of free transfers who are dwelling with the great wizard of the east midlands The wizard offers his support to the grand master Claudio of the wonderful land of Les Stars After long discussions late in to the night they come up with a ingenious plan. They sprinkle fairy dust over the two giants called Wes and Huth which means they are under a spell that nobody can rise higher when they jump After they have concluded this spell they move on to the rest of the immortals using various potions that makes them regain their confidence and belief They follow this by visiting the castle they call the King Power, here they leave magic clappers that ward off the demons in the heads of the mighty 5000/1 ers For the rest of the year the soldiers don't concede another corner, free kick or goal. Nobody believes what has happened and the evil pundits in the world are forced to bow down at the feet of the immortals once again. The potions and magic spells work so well that the Immortals are never questioned about their ability again and they go on to win the Sacred Cup that has been captured by the evil dwarfs of Spain. They continue to be supported by the Power Kings and go down in history as the writers of the greatest story ever told, Now that's Fairy Tale Am I mad........................Yes As someone always manages to put on here: We're Still Champions
