KingKante Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Interesting plot twist, certainly would be returning to reality with a bump! Article here: http://www.espnfc.co.uk/club/leicester-city/375/blog/post/2959455/leicester-relegation-would-be-the-most-fitting-end-to-fairy-tale
desertfox2 Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 No winning the champions league would be. We won't go down. I think this year it won't take that many points to stay up could be mid 30s even. We will finish top half.
Wymsey Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Articles like these sound as if some want us to struggle a lot. We were/still are a breath of fresh air in this league and English football, showing that big transfer fees isn't the way to success but strong will to win games and great team ethic is.
HankMarvin Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Jesus, think that journalist forgot to take his anti depressants this morning
RowlattsFox Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Yeah getting relegated would be brilliant...
foxy boxing Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 it would be the nightmare end of the fairytale, relegation means millions lost and our best players leaving and claudio gone
StanSP Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 There's no way relegation should even be considered at the moment. The sheer talk of it makes me cringe.
Voll Blau Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 I'd take relegation and a European Cup win (what he's actually suggesting if you read the piece) in a heartbeat.
STUHILL Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 We have too many big characters at the club who I trust would work their socks off to stay up, more so than many other clubs in this league. Our quality can always be questioned but not our spirit and although we have had a shakey start, I still believe we will be comfortable this year. Most teams who go down, do so because of a lack of goals. I can't forsee us ever struggling to score goals, so as long as we tighten up at the back, we will be more than fine.
filbertstreet Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 triple relegation so we andy king can win the johnstones paint trophy and league 2 with the same team
Guest MattP Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Along with a Champions League win absolutely! We won't go down though, the games against Swansea and Burnley showed we are still far too good for that, we are midtable and already have Arsenal, Liverpool and Man U out the way.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Classic media, build 'em up and knock 'em down.
Mark_w Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Quote The most revered artists tend to be those who do brief, brilliant work and then (sadly on a human level) die. James Dean, Jeff Buckley, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, John Keats, John Belushi: people who weren't around long enough for their legacies to be diluted over time. In some respects, the best thing you can really do is burn out, not fade away. Sounds like the club folding would be the perfect end to the fairy-tale.
davieG Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Every season I dream of relegation my life always feels complete when it happens this last couple of years have been a nightmare for me.

Does he get paid for that? I despair.

Guest Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 It would be proper funny if it did happen, so I'd probably be alright right with it. Definitely, if we managed to win Champions League on the way out. And it would be nice to have some local derby matches again, so yeah, let's do it!
yorkie1999 Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 More games, cheaper season tickets and parking, whats not to like about the championship. Who really gives a s**t about how much money the club is getting, it's all relative.
Leicesterpool Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Imagine the scenario of winning the champions league and getting relegated. Imagine playing champions league while in the championship.
elvisfmcfly Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 He would never make a living writing fairytale books for kids,if that's the ending he thinks is most suitable.flat Stanley getting caught up in a suicide bombing next?

adejo92 Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 Relegation my arse. We have been poor but we will still win enough games to survive, comfortably.
Sampson Posted 26 September 2016 Posted 26 September 2016 John Lennon spent about 20 years in the music industry and was past his best. Jeff Buckley was shit and no one considers him one of the greats. Compare him to someone like Bob Dylan, Van Morrisson or Neil Young who faded out years ago but gave us shittons of great stuff and there's no comparison to the likes of Buckley. What about Nick Cave or Tom Waits or people who've been churning out consistently great material for decades?

Disagree with this, a relegation could screw up the club for years, and I don't want us to become like Forest in 5 years time, banging on about former glories whilst sitting lower-mid table in the Championship. It would make all our progress since being relegated to League 1 a waste of time
