I actually don't understand the point of bringing Ulloa and Okazaki on as subs, I have seen it time and time again, it simply does not make hardly any difference as the same style of play continues. Hit and hope. I would sell Ulloa and Schlupp, I don't think either of them are good enough, sorry. The only plus was that defensively we did'nt concede anything today, and a point is better than nothing.

By how many depends on the formation. i have very little hope that we will go to Stamford bridge and actually give a good account of ourselves. We will play 4-4-2, get overrun in midfield, be carved open by through balls and lose. Im hoping I am wrong but I am more interested in the next league home game after this game as this may be another write off.
foxy boxing Posted 3 October 2016 Posted 3 October 2016 it's going to be a tough away day for us and I expect kante will do to us what he did to other teams while playing for us although his role at Chelsea is slightly different. I would definitely play with a five man midfield although this will be obsolete if they score early against us. we can't just counter because every team expects that of us now and we need to be different.our wide players need to come in and help defend when we are not on the attack and we need to try other styles of ball not just the one over the top for the strikers to run onto

Surely we have to bring Gray in for Albrighton at some point? If Mendy is back, I'd go 4-1-4-1 Kasper Simpson Big Wes. Bobby Huth. Fuchs . Amartey Mahrez. Drinks. Mendy. Gray . Slim With Gray and Mahrez getting early crosses into Slim to exploit the very shaky Chelsea defence.

Blimey Col, no offence, but I just did not expect you to come up with the alternative system that would suit our style and players the best. Right on Amartey 'holding' in front of the back four. The four across the park can then close down higher up the pitch. I think both Drinky and Papy can be very creative, with whichever three attackers best suit on any given day. Do it Claudio. ( I been thinking all this since before the Liverpool match, but got slated after that match when some thought I was being over critical of Claudio for not spotting it then ).
