I'm so fed up with this. Nearly half the season gone, and we still look so poor, trying the same thing over and over again. It's just not good enough. CR is on the radio as I type spouting the same old shite- "Good performance, etc. etc." NO IT FVCKING WASN'T! It was pathetic. Enough's enough. Change it or get out. If we look like we can't be arsed at Stoke, Ranieri has to go.

1 away point and it's nearly xmas. Piss poor. I thought mid-table would be about the least we could expect this season, but we're going down at this rate.

I'm devastated. How can we be this poor? Especially when we know we can play so well.

Man City were poor defensively but make no mistake, we were brilliant. Anyone can see the huge chasm of difference between that performance and every single away one, including this one.

It's such a tragic waste. Massively deflating, nay, heartbreaking to see what we've become.

Sign one, just one real quality midfielder in January. A player with skill, comfortable on the ball, comes to receive it from the defence, picks a pass (not just a 5 yard pass) AND who can run into the opposition half with confidence to give the ball higher up the field and this team will look 5 times better. And we'll end up mid table.

You heard it here first.......

Im fed up with arguing with muppets on here who claim our midfield is good enough, is improving or 'is young and has potential'.

It's not. At this level, it's rubbish.

1 point from a possible 24 away from home tells its own story.

They were average and took their chance we were average and didn't.

We weren't schooled out there tonight by any means but we just weren't good enough.

Our midfield looks powder puff against any team with an ounce of steel. Some of our decision making going forward is atrocious.

Frustrating again!!

Surely the owners must be getting slightly worried now, same poor performances weak in, weak out.

Surely they must be worried how week the performances are from the players.

We gave it a real go second half, I  think a draw would have been fair. The ref never gave us a thing.

Please don't blame the ref.

Definitely not Musa's fault we lost but he really doesn't look like he's got much to offer at the moment and was awful when he came on. How many times can a player give the ball away? He may be used to smashing it 30 yards past poor quality defenders in the Russian league and doing them for pace but Premier League defenders aren't going to let him do that. He looked confused every time he tried to beat a player and they used their body against him or a covering defender had already read the danger. And at times his touch was appalling. Hoping he'll come good but he looks lost out there at the moment.

Today for me the most annoying thing overall was the basic stuff we couldn't get right. So much indecisiveness in the middle of the park, people waiting for each other to put a tackle in, nobody taking control of the situation. And so many simple short passes seemed to be misplaced or under-hit. There's no excuse for that, it's not like we're trying something complicated and hard to perfect, it's just simple stuff you shouldn't be struggling with so much.

I also don't get the strategy after Slimani went off. It's fine getting the ball out wide and smashing the ball in the box, but with Okazaki on for Slimani where's the value in that? Albrighton might well put his head in his hands when nobody is getting on the end of the cross but who can expect Okazaki and Vardy to be winning headers against Bournemouth's big centre-halves? So frustrating today.

League one quality at best tonight. Didn't really feel asthough it was lack of effort, it was just a clear display of lack of ability.

When is Andy King, young or has potential or even improving????

Only had one eye on the game, but it looked like we were far more positive than pre-Man City. Obviously it's a bad result, and we probably didn't do enough, but surely an improvement on recent weeks in general? I actually saw chances and openings this game and it's not like Bournemouth carved us open time after time.

You must have only watched the last 10 minutes... the first half they found it easy and just passed the ball around, we allowed that and it inevitably resulted in a goal. We stood off and didn't dare venture into their half without the ball

Centre back is badly needed. Morgan and Huth are both gone mentally and physically.

The whole back four was pretty poor on the goal. We have a lack of pace, so played some high line for an unknown reason. Fuchs sells himself. Morgan doesn't even mark Afobe. Pugh not picked up by Hernandez or a midfielder.

I wish folk would stop banging on about poor recruitment. The majority of our squad are PL winners FFS. We've got talented players and should easily be capable of top half. I don't know what the fvck it is but I don't believe it's down to poor recruitment. Of pre season for that matter. Just excuses IMO.

Agree to an extent.

Our first 11 is well good enough for that and the biggest problem is those good players are not performing.

Unfortunately because of this it's exposing the poor quality of our fringe players. We're having to throw the likes of Musa, Zeiler, Schlupp, Hernandez, Amartey and King in for whatever reason and they're just not good enough. In fact some of them are so hideously far from being good enough I'm actually wondering if the person who scouted them was trying to do us over.

We had no strengh in depth last season but the difference was the first 11 kept picking themselves with great displays.

That was one awful performance. Forget the last 10 mins that was them letting us onto them. When for pity sake will we take an away game by the scruff of the neck. Play the same formation, same players, and expect a different performance or result - it's first signs of madness.

Yeh but we need more options than just Drinkwater. Either someone needs to up their game or bring someone in. We are too reliant on Drinkwater.

Reckon we can get cambiasso in January?

I never thought I'd find myself posting this...

lol

But a Cambiasso type midfielder is EXACTLY what we need at the moment.

This team is crying out for a bloody midfielder who JUST LOOKS COMFORTABLE ON THE BALL and can carry it forward.

Is that asking too much?

Sack the manager who won us the ****ing premier league because we lost kante, signed shit players and now we suck? Even if we go down CR should NEVER be sacked.

Everything I feared it would be. Saturday I'm afraid was as much down to Guardiola's ignorance and arrogance as much as anything. Do your homework and you'll likely beat us. We are absolutely piss poor at the minute. The system still isn't working yet I'm now worried that Saturday (which was a freak for me) is going to convince him it's still the way forward.

Bleak times for us. This league campaign has been embarrassing. The summer recruitment an absolute embarrassment and a joke.
