Bournemouth 1 - 0 Leicester Post match thread

Albrighton looked like a pub player tonight. Can only imagine the stick Schlupp would have got if he put that performance in. Were these set of players always as bad on the ball as they are now?I'm just so frustrated after watching that. I don't think there was particularly much in the game but Bournemouth actually looked like a football team and deserved to win.

Yes, I do.

And I've seen Slimani bang them in with force and accuracy.

But hey ho, great to see you give your fully subjective input once more (without any intentional wind-up involved). Welcome back!

There's a difference between attacking crosses and long balls. I've seen Andy King score some cracking headers but you wouldn't see him winning long balls in the air.

Take Drinky and Mahrez out of our team, Who else actually creates anything for us?!

Hernandez IS NOT a right back!

Musa, pace yes brain no.

King, Passenger game passes him by.

Amartey, Not confident or good enough to play CM.

Morgan, Not invincible...Sign a CB in Jan.

Slimani, Can't work him out...Still unsure if he's worth £10m let alone £30m.

Rant Done, Truly disappointed tonight.

But Bring on Stoke...Kasper Drinky Mendy and Simpson all in please!

When did we sign Rant Done?

That first half has truly left me furious... they wiped the floor with us because we didn't bother trying to win the ball. That was the same thing that has happened especially away from home all season. No one wanted to close them down in their half...

I wish folk would stop banging on about poor recruitment. The majority of our squad are PL winners FFS. We've got talented players and should easily be capable of top half. I don't know what the fvck it is but I don't believe it's down to poor recruitment. Of pre season for that matter. Just excuses IMO.

Albrighton has been shocking all season but seem to get jumped on if we criticise him. Get fed up of seeing him check onto his right foot and play and overplayed long ball to Mahrez. Gray should be given a run - at least he gets the ball down and runs at defenders.

Slimani's header against Burnley at home or the one against Porto is the type of goal I'm talking about.

It's about the pressing, and forcing mistakes, with Kante we could do that with 2 in midfield, but as it stands, away from home there is no pressing, there's ample time and space for crosses to go in and attackers to play through us!!  This is tactics, to sit back and absorb, rather then sit back, press, force the mistake and counter!!

Exactly Kante allowed us to play two in midfield. Watch three man midfields, a player is always able to pick the ball up from the centre backs too.

Ultimately CR has to be the one to turn things around, and if not someone else!

I'm seriously losing patience with him.

He has to be honest with the fans, that performance was not acceptable!!

We also discussed donuts. We need some closure on that too. Some kind of after the event thinking.

Many donuts have holes in the middle, a characteristic they share with our midfield. We need to get a quality jam filling into the centre of the park, and use its stickiness to win the ball back before passing it to our sugary bits on the outside.

We all know Ranieri isn't going to come out and slate the players. It's no shock he's happy with the commitment and effort from the lads.

Ranieri proves he's learned nothing again. Style of football is embarrassing and ineffective. We DO have good footballers in this team, some of the stuff we played last year was brilliant; Man City away, Swansea away, Newcastle away etc. We're lazy and have absolutely no tempo these days. Serious questions over Ranieri's position for me again. Praying he reverts back to what we had at the start of last season.

Has Ranieri lost the respect of the dressing room with apparently £100k salaries + bmwi8 + champions league bonus's.

Only had one eye on the game, but it looked like we were far more positive than pre-Man City. Obviously it's a bad result, and we probably didn't do enough, but surely an improvement on recent weeks in general? I actually saw chances and openings this game and it's not like Bournemouth carved us open time after time.

Claudio needs to learn a few new phrases and stop praising dismal performances and worse still, dismal effort. It's all getting a bit Zzzzzzz now and im saying this as Claudio's biggest fan
