Just as I said yesterday The FA protecting their little tin gods too much, backing them to the hilt. No respect for them whatsoever.
AjcW Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 Dragging some positives out.... - 3 games very quickly, so no chance of him getting stale for 3 or 4 weeks like could have been the case any other time of year. - Back fresh for when we need him with Slimani and Mahrez away - We've coped before - Will be determined to catch up when he's back.
EGBFitness Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 Joke. Could be a blessing in disguise (hopefully)

It's the principle.
irishfoxkev Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 Sky Sports breaking news saying Vardy has lost his appeal but ban remains at 3 matches...Everton, West Ham and Middlesboro
nnfox Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 Unbelievable. A yellow would have been harsh. Still, gives others a chance to stake a claim.
AjcW Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 Just now, Matt said: It's the principle. Oh completely! Just wanted to look on the bright side
yorkie1999 Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 time to give the refs some sh*t at our home games. Make them think about every challenge.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 Shock horror. It was worth a go. @AKCJ I expect a live feed for the shit sandwich eating.
Edingleyfox Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 Was convinced it would be overturned Squad looking a bit thin for Boxing day just hope Leo etc can step up
Barky Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 That's absurd. There is no way on earth if that was a big club it wouldn't have been rescinded. It's not even a foul. Time the corrupt FA was properly gutted from the inside out. They're a disgrace to the game and by extension a disgrace to sporting culture and an embarrassment to the nation. Sack them all.
kingcarr21 Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 It was always going to be rejected. Hopefully we stumble on Okazaki and Slimani super partnership

Absolutely berating the referee only works when you're a big team. (See Madley at Spurs & Simpson incident at Arsenal last year). Only likely to make things worse.
HankMarvin Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 hopefully he can refuel on Port over the festive period

Fox 4 Life Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 **** the FA. Bunch of dinosaurs and the reason England will never amount to anything
RGFox Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 Whoever is on the panel of the FA is a disgrace. However, they're so out of touch with the game it's no longer a surprise. Having seen the replays at worst yellow.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 Can we stop saying it isn't a foul we just make ourselves look like cretins Its two footed, it's a foul, takes the ball doesn't matter, takes the man doesn't matter, misses both doesn't matter, two feet = foul. Quote It has to be deemed a 'frivolous' appeal to get an extra game ban. This, and we obviously had a point in appealing. A lot of you are thinking about it the wrong way, they wont have looked at the decision and think "is this decision right or wrong" that's not the way it works. They will look at it and think "is there any merit at all in sending the player off here at all" It was fairly obvious the chances were they'd turn it down, they turn a lot more down than they rescind.
ousefox Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 This may be a blessing in disguise. Aside from City he has been very much below par. I haven't seen the hunger in his game we saw every week last season at all. Ulloa has come off the bench and put in a real shift when called upon this season, and Okazaki is playing better than he was last season too. I would have been tempted not to start him anyway on boxing day. Hopefully this gives him a rest period to get him back on track, while allowing Ulloa and Okazaki a first team chance they definitely deserve.
jim5000 Posted 20 December 2016 Posted 20 December 2016 I'm not suprised. I said in the match day thread that it was a leg-breaker if slightly mistimed. How anyone can watch the first 7 seconds of this and say it's not a red I don't understand, he dives in with both feet
