J.Lisemore Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Its come to the point where this is getting ridiculous now. Something needs to be done. Our recruitment in the summer was absolutely pathetic and if given the chance I'd let them all go in January. NONE of them have improved our squad.
fridoux Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 claudio killed me ffs. change the ****ing system and this albrighton/simpson aaarghh
The Guvnor Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Time to watch Andrea serenading the crowd again to ease the pain. How were the mince pies?
adam95581 Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 How does Albrighton get through 90 mins? Don't give me any nonsense about him putting in a good delivery because it's an absolute myth!! Gray should start again next week, as should Ulloa. Chilwell to keep his place too with Drinkwater and Huth back in. Need to start playing players who fight and sack off this champions bollocks because it's going to get us relegated.

Last week should have been a turning point, instead an ineffective performance all over the pitch has left us in the mire. Every time we play half decent people talk about it being a "turning point" and then the week after its back to the same shite
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 We went into the game without three key players. Chilwell did well for his peen debut. I can't understand how stubborn one man can be. He may come across like he is the nicest guy on earth but actions speak louder than words. Surely someone is giving him ideas that it's not working this way? He can't honestly be over the moon just because the players have a bit of sweat on Their top? Why is their no plan a- let alone a plan b
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Conceding 2 goals every game we're always going to struggle
TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 What I don't understand is keeping your worst players on and taking your best threats forwards off. Gray and King were getting on the ball and into great positions getting the ball into the box. Albrighton and Slimani were awful today - these players should have gone off. Ranieri completely knee jerked by changing from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 once he made these poor subs - we no longer got on the ball due to a lack of players in the middle and resorted to hoof ball. Ranieris fault today.
Corky Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Nearly half the season gone and we've played well in about four matches and ok in another couple. The football has been boring, the defence utterly atrocious and we've contrived to sit firmly in a relegation battle. I've got no enthusiasm for Saturday at all.
Rasmic123 Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Chilwell, gray and ulloa need to start the next game. Drop slimani and albrighton, both playing terribly atm
ousefox Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Chillwell class act. Ulloa putting in a shift - AGAIN No idea what the sub was at half time. The players didn't seem to know what formation they were playing, and of course Gray shouldn't have been subbed instead of Albrighton but Gray was hardly Ronaldo out there. Fans booing was a bit pathetic. First goal was disgusting, second goal is what happens when you are chasing the game. Everton were equally as bad as us.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Can't blame the manager for their first goal, calamity defending.

Let's hope we can bring in quality. They are more bothered about buying 30,000 daft masks just to try to have a crafty dig
Tuna Posted 26 December 2016 Author Posted 26 December 2016 I'm beginning to wonder whether or not Claudio is allowing sentiment to cloud his judgement. Nothing explains the continual selection of Albrighton who is absolutely useless. Does he realize the situation we are in and what is needed to turn it round?7 It's the same old tactics and the same old rubbish performances and results! If it ain't broke don't fix it, it IS broke and we refuse to fix it or acknowledge it's broken!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 How many times have we concede the first goal this season, it is almost every game... you aren't going to win letting in soft first goals
TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Also Chilwell - what a future he has ahead of him. We'll struggle to keep hold of him
Brooksy Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Ranieri hasnt got a clue how to change it. We're going down.
matty2702 Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Very poor once again. Unless a long ball falls kindly to us in the opposition box we never look at all like scoring. We even had to resort to crossing from near enough the halfway line as we couldn't get in behind the Everton defence... again we didnt really show any urgency until going a goal behind, but even then Everton looked more likely to add a second and I thought they were a very poor side. Frustrating and sad times at the moment and it's hard to see that changing at the present...
Karljohn Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Of course it was wonderful winning the league but it's a different type of motivation now. 6 figure pay cheques along with the ego's. They need a kick up the fu££ing arse.
ealingfox Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Shite management all season long (in the league) and there's nothing we can do.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 I watched the match thread with interest today, making few posts. The two I made were along the lines of we had the most of it in the first half, but made very very few chances...we better be careful about not letting them in. And secondly, at half time, that Everton were the bookies faves to win. It was interesting. There was an awful lot of spaffing over Amartey, Chilwell and Gray. Indeed, one poster claimed that Gray was 'brilliant' etc. I don't see what others are seeing. Chilwell is a kid and had a good debut. But if you were REALLY looking, you could see that we were clearly lacking anybody in the midfield who could make any clear cut chances for any of our strikers. FT is full of knee-jerk, such and such is 'brilliant' or such and such is 'shite' etc. What I can tell you, with little hesitation, is that this team is well and truly in a relegation scrap. The team that started that game today (in defence, midfield AND attack) is not a Premiership side, let alone a Premiership winning side. We look to be in a real mess. I'd have no surprise if Ranieri is fighting to stay in a job. With the massive contracts we gave some of our players, we cannot afford to be relegated. When we are losing at home, we know that all is far from well.
Guest Manini Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Just now, Tuna said: I'm beginning to wonder whether or not Claudio is allowing sentiment to cloud his judgement. And we're doing the same as fans, surely? The longer it goes on the more levridge the "Ranieri out" crowd have got. Lets to be honest with ourselves, if any other team was on this run there would be real conversations about the management being changed. The longer it goes on the more my mind gets changed in to fresh ideas, I really don't want us to get relegated but I think if it carries on as it is, we might.
