Good shout

£18 million.

That's Will Hughes for eighteen million Great British pounds.

Meh £18 mill.

No it doesn't matter how I say it, that's utterly ridiculous.

Geoff Peters was presenting the early breakfast show between 5 and 6 this morning on Talksport.

He had a guest on talking about Slimani and Ulloa leaving. The guest said we could be in serious trouble if the both go.

Geoff replied with something like "Don't you worry about that, Leicester have got a couple of attacking options up their sleeve if that happens."

That could easily just mean Vardy & Okazaki.

The January window can be a bit like this... The "outs" get sorted and the arranged "ins" can then follow. Sometimes it takes one deal to start the domino effect with others.

And is that what needs to happen for the 18 million pound deal to happen?

Not sure. They were trying to sign this player before speculation arose about Ulloa and Slimani possibly leaving.

I get that you can't say much, but is this striker similar to Leo or Slimani? Or is he a different type? e.g. Luan ??‍♂️

Will Hughes got a new contract last week and Carroll is the only one scoring for West Ham so no chance of either. Geoff shouldn't bother saying anything because it just causes 50 odd pages of crap, unless he just likes the attention.

The laziest striker in the premier league. Good work.

I personally wouldn't touch him with a shitty stick.

Lazy, greedy, the most one footed player I've ever seen...

He just seems to fit the profile.

I hope it's not.
