Fox92 Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 Never really rated him at Liverpool but I guess he was playing with better players. Might look good here. We need a centre back though, and I'm glad it's being addressed, that's the positive.
Nick Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 Sign him up. Lively fella - good for the dressing room, cracking defender - we'll have to pay him 90k a week though!

AKCJ Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 He's one of those players that shouldn't be making any mistakes because he plays for a big team. Think he would do well here if we're honest. He's certainly an upgrade and he actually knows how to pass it. Could do worse, could do better. Won't be overly excited if we sign him, won't be overly disappointed if we don't. Bit 'meh', really.
Nick Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 My mate is a Liverpool fan and describes him as a real leader on and off the pitch with great ability but a little inconsistent considering he is now in his peak in terms of age....
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 Worth a risk. Would play him alongside Huth and focus on getting him to keep it simple.

But taking in to consideration the tweets sent out by Geoff Peters in regards to an 18m fee being agreed for a player, do you not think the article has potentially a bit of context?

Callabinho Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 He was amazing on footie manager.....naturally means he's ****ing wank in real life....however he may be a good fit for us, he's crap on the ball but an alright defender. I actually think we solved the issue vs West Ham and Boro...but then Clownio had to go and change things.....

Not saying it isnt possible but I think it would have more context if his name was mentioned more recently...
TrentFox Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 The most ridiculous thing is that rather than a replacement, he could be the 3rd CB if we are going to try 3-5-2 for a while?? With Schlupp and Albrighton as WB's, I really like thee look and feel of that. Oh wait ......
dpjfox Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 i always thought the fans loved him it was Klopp who didnt rate him im imo Natastic/Acerbi clubs wont sell Keane over priced.. Sakho in Hernandez out good news
dylanlegend Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 Is it a coincidence that Liverpool are doing much better this year without him? Sol Bamba MK2 in my opinion

Russell sprout Posted 16 January 2017 Posted 16 January 2017 As a footballer yes, but his cockiness off the pitch is everything I hate about modern day footballers, so no
