Lambert09 Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 What would you prefer, option 1: a champions league final and get relegated or option 2: knocked out in two weeks and survive? This is the optimistic thread so no replies of 'we will get knocked out and be relegated' please!

Meh... they drew 1-1 at Millwall in September, even they could score. (sure, they just lost 0-2 at home to Millwall...)
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 - We ain't in the bottom three - I still think we'll beat Seville at home (ok maybe pie in the sky) - I like Ndidi and Gray Can't think of much else positive at the mo to be honest
seenitall Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 Wow great positivity guys - this thread will deffo need pulling up once we've stayed up.....
Crinklyfox Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 It's darkest before the dawn. It will only take one scrappy result to lift the spirits and we have players capable of achieving that. Many are playing below their potential at present but are capable of so much more with the right attitude and a bit of confidence. Wallowing in negativity is easy, there's less to lose emotionally when you go into each game expecting defeat. It's harder to accentuate the positives, few they though may be at present, and strive to remain upbeat but that's what we have to do if we are to have any hope of getting out of this mess.
lgfualol Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 I'm positive that after Sevilla obliterate us that the players will realise they're quite shite and start trying their hardest to make up for it again.

ozleicester Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 Should be able to get a season ticket next year
Babylon Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 I find this place slightly less unbearable than I used to during a bad run.
maddog Posted 20 February 2017 Author Posted 20 February 2017 On the same flight as Stringer, Matt Elliott and Jason Bourne. Got to be a positive sign for a Leicester win. Stringer appears to be having some kind of mid life crisis in his very casual, slightly chavvy attire. He's dressed like the school bully chavs that used to terrorise me, silver baseball cap, black trackies and everything! Anyway positive positive, come on Leicester!

Livid Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 Our master plan of not winning a league game in months and lulling our CL opponents into a malaise is in place. Now like a coiled sloth we will spring into action. Once more onto the breach.......wibble

Blimey - the radio Leicester budget blown in a few days!! Three nights B + B if we got through they would have to do the next round from stringers lounge watching BT!

Maybe we'll even sneak a win. I've a feeling in me waters. Stranger things have happened. Lincoln squeezed a win at one of the toughest home grounds in the country yesterday. Admire the positivity but we're no Lincoln.

Shaggy Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 21 hours ago, maddog said: Every thread on this forum is so negative right now its becoming depressing so I thought I would try start a more positive discussion, this thread is strictly positive only please. We are not in the relegation zone, that is a positive. We have a game in the Champions League knockout stage coming up on Wednesday, definitely a huge positive. We have rich billionaire owners which means the club is very secure financially which it certainly was not prior to Mandaric and even then it wasn't on the same financial planet as it is now. Seven out of thirteen of our remaining games are at home. We play West Brom (A), Bournemouth (H), Watford (H) in three of our last four games and all those sides will probably have nothing to play for by May so we'll have a great chance to pick up wins like we did during the great escape when we were mainly playing teams with nothing to play for. I had a chicken and singha pie in the ground and it was bloody amazing, definitely not a pukka. The pastry was surprisingly delicious for a football ground pie so I might have to get another one soon. Well done to the pie supplier! Please share your positives below and save any negatives for the other many many negative topics. When you say positive, does that include the players
erlee Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 i ll put a hundred quids on the Sevilla game Ht/FT.. i 'll make some profit
