Gary Lineker

This guy does my head in, whinges and pontificates when we hire Ranieri, whinges and pontificates when we fire Ranieri. It's a shame that the 'go to' Leicester supporter for the media is such a fickle man, you would think he would temper his overt criticism of the owners after last time.

He gets up my fookin nose.   Has a fookin opinion on everything and a massive opinion of himself.   Big eared t*sser.

I've been on the opposite side of the argument it seems,

I was ecstatic when he arrived and said publicly on FT that he would be a success here (Never imagined that though)

Wanted him to go by the end.

Tbf most of our fan base moaned when we hired him then moaned last night.

Lineker does go on a bit but then I remember how he put his own money forward in 2002 so give and take.... Wouldn't mind seeing him up front though if he fancies chipping in with some goals to save us.

I'd disagree, I don't believe most did, I think just the vocal minority did. I think most were willing to give him a chance, and most probably conclude now that he had to go, as disappointed as they are.

I think more people were against his arrival than for it to be fair!

As a Leicester City fan i'm unsure how you can slate Lineker either, the guy is an absolute legend of the highest order

How dare someone not want a manager and then when they do well change their mind, wow!

So is Roy Cropper

Yeah but he chooses to tell the world

Reminds me very much of Piers Morgan.

Very opinionated, to the point where the point of him saying stuff is to get a reaction.

Pissed me off when I read that he'd "shed a tear over Ranieri's sacking".

Course you ****ing did Gary.

I was cringing all the way through his interview on the BBC, the worst kind of knee-jerk, over opinionated, self important narcissist you can imagine, even more than me with these opinions about him.

I despise Joey Barton but when he publicly threatened to out Linekers skeletons and Gary went quiet for months on end I did have a chuckle.

I like him, and agree with most of his football opinions but I don't think he's anywhere near as big as fan as he makes out. I think you can see someone like Arlo White is a genuine supporter. Entitled to his opinion of course but disagree at this time.

We have more fans in the media than other clubs our size (WBA, Southampton etc) but only Arlo White comes across as a level headed man with reasonable opinions. He was in Seville the other night as a fan supporting the team.

Manish is a nice guy but Lineker have been doing my head in lately.

How are we turning on Lineker now lollol . Get a grip of yourselves.

He's obviously a huge fan and has his own feelings about the club and Ranieri. JUST LIKE ANY OTHER FAN. He's entitled to his opinions as is everyone else.

His views whether it be football or politics bore me.

The only reason I 'follow' him is to see the MOTD running order, infact not even that bothered about that nowadays.

I thank him for his help saving the club, putting money into the club, e.t.c and do/did like the bloke but in the last year or so he really does come across as a self-rightious individual (Mainly based on his views on politics but also this situation.)

Seems to think he's the 'go to' voice of the Leicester fans all of a sudden...

No doubting he's a genuine fan but he's also become a lot more vocal on all matters LCFC since we returned to the Prem. Let's not forget that he also outed Pearson as having been sacked by one of the chairmen but then reinstated by the other (which completely undermined Pearson and the club). Now leading a campaign of ill-will towards the club's decision.

Leaves a bit of a sour taste.

He can do what he likes.

It's amazing we are even discussing an individual and servant of the club's rights and freedom to post his opinions in an appropriate and non-offensive manner.

What we surely should be discussing are the Instagram cretins abusing Vichai.
