Nick Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 It'll be a different match - they'll park everything they have.
jonthefox Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 No knee jerk reaction this time. Probably going to be a difficult game.
harpendenfox Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 Hull have been extremely impressive in recent performances against Liverpool, United and Arsenal. They are well organised, determined and disciplined. It goes without saying that we must be in their faces and focussed on all three points, but a draw would not be a disastrous result. Then after Seville it is West Ham away. The Hammers are now comfortably mid table, so perhaps they might take their eye off the ball....
surrifox Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 1-1 until 86th minute when Leo sweeps the winner in from close range to complete his redemption- scenes
filbertway Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 Similar high intensity start to the Liverpool game and I don't see why we can't win. The lads are going to be buzzing this week in training and I imagine they'll be raring to go again on Saturday. Hopefully Hull don't know what's hit them. Hull have looked a much better team since Silva came in to be fair to them but I feel like we're about to ride on the crest of wave till the end of the season now. It feels like a heavy weight has been lifted off the players. I can't believe it's taken till late February to be excited to watch us play again.
AmarteyAndChill Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 If we win and Bournemouth lose to United we will be 14
Guest Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 Keep playing how we just did and we'll beat teams like hull easily. We played like champions last night. I hope the owners take notice and watch what happens under Shakey fir a bit longer before rushing an appointment. If we'd played the style all season we could be having another push for Europe now.

Don't need to push for Europe in the league if you're going to qualify for it as winners... ?
Larry_LCFC Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 Riyad makes us dangerous maybe once or twice in the match at the minute. Gray makes us fast and dangerous for the majority. No brainer for me.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 We might have same problems as after the man city performance.... Hull will sit back deep, he dangerous from set pieces and maybe hit us when we counter. I expect we will have much more possession this game. Regardless, if we show same determination and start with the same tempo to setup the match.... I think we should with Easily. 3-0 vardy, mahrez and gray
st albans fox Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 Will be a harder game than last night defence will sit back and not allow Vardy to run in behind they will be more disciplined and let us have the ball at the back. We cannot afford to lose this !! We really need to win to neutralise their opening day win. Would like to see a change or two as some of the boys must be knackered after two very tough games.

But very often in being heavily marked he is drawing defenders and midfielders away creating space elsewhere. We haven't take enough advantage this season.

ozvaldo Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 Let's go again. Same 11. Mahrez will come good against this shower of shit. ****ing hate Hull.
M0901 Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 It's like every game from here on in is a cup final. I wouldn't change the team at all based on last night. If things to get difficult and Hull sit, this is when Slim/Leo make their mark. Up the lads!
GloverFox Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 If any game is going to be a difficult battle of attrition then it's this one! As has already been said on here 'Ull are well organised and determined now and whether we all agree or not they do have some quality in the side! playing not around their box but just inside it will be key, I reckon one penalty will settle it .. not pretty but workman like and no time for shirking doing the gritty side of the game!
foxes21 Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 Okazaki was unreal last night.. However I think this game's better suited for either Ulloa or Slimani. Save Okazaki for Sevilla. The impact of a fully fit, energetic, in your face, tireless Okazaki is undeniable. With a well rested Okazaki in the team, I'd fancy our chances against Sevilla.
AjcW Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 I think given how Liverpool played last night, Hulls so called New Manager bounce may have been a little false. They beat Bournemouth (can't defend), Liverpool (Can't defend) and drew 0-0 with Man Utd (GK had the game of his life) They have the third worst defence in the league behind Swansea & Bournemouth They have the second worst goals scored in the league behind Boro, if you take away Snodgrass they've scored 16 all season. I think it'll be tight & I think it'll be a carbon copy of the Norwich game with a scrappy late winner.
UPinCarolina Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 We need to avenge that utter shower of an Opening Day defeat that absolutely set us off on the wrong foot.
Guest Danny Clender Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 I'm sure Shakey will have also reset the training schedules to suit better recovery and preparation time. I'm sure last night took it out of them, with the increased intensity potentially taking its toll. So keep it light on the training ground and then make no changes to the starting team. I think Slimani could have a role to play in this game, somewhere 2nd half for me.

Corky Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 Same team, same intensity please. Keep the crowd going early on.
