em9999 Posted 28 February 2017 Posted 28 February 2017 Good luck Leicester v hull I hope you hammer em.. **** the media not all us other fans think you have done anything wrong
Blue ROI Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 Leicester more than capable of winning this but we have 1 win 1 draw and 1 loss against Hull in the Premier League so take nothing for granted. We got quite the landing in August. It's also a week next Saturday roughly since the demoralising 0-0 at home game in March 2015. Worth maybe getting 1 or 2 more players into games. Sevilla will be watching closely so need to be mindful not to show our hand.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 Come on Leicester biggest game of the season (so far) up the Foxes

It's easy for outsiders to say Claudio should never have been sacked. They haven't had to sit through the absolutely dismal football this season. There was a poll on the radio yesterday. 61% of people would not have Ranieri at their club. I wonder how many of them were happy for us to have him?
surrifox Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 Do they still do that mincey "mauled by the tigers" chant ?
Merging Cultures Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 It is going to be a really tough game. We need Mahrez and Albrighton to be on form to pull the midfield and defenders out of position and give space to Drinkwater and Vardy to do their thing.

We played 5 at the back im sure and don't think we had a shot on target, don't think either team did. when I felt we were going down!! How wrong was I

Thracian Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 For me this is the Wob Woy fixture. With a multi-point bonus if we win and keep Hodgson away from the manager's chair.

Bang on here, I'm really really hoping a win against these will sway the owners towards shakey, instead of woy the spineless worm

I defend Pearson now but that day looked like the end of something. Little did we know....
harpendenfox Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 It is a huge game, no doubt about that. A win, and whilst not safe, we will have made significant steps towards preserving our Premiership status, perhaps requiring a further 11 points from the final 11 games. And we could go into Seville with a 10 day break and nothing to lose. The prospect of an historic night at the KP. Once again we have a role to play. Patience if we don't start well. Monday was welcome, but I would imagine confidence is still fragile
les-tah Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 if i was Shakey id literally say to his players.. if you want me, perform like you did against Liverpool. If not you have Woy.
RonnieTodger Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 Really don't like Hull for some reason. I think it's from when they went all weird when we took Pearson back. They've made some really clever signings in January though, and look a lot better despite losing Snodgrass. Grosicki looks a player. I was annoyed that we weren't in for Ranocchia.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 Will be a tough one. Play like we did on Saturday and we should be fine however. Need Riyad to pull his finger out, like people said I'd be tempted to put Gray in from the start. Ndidi needs to will the head on battle with Huddlestone. LETS HAVE IT

How wrong was I I had lost faith in Pearson a little while before. Funnily enough, this was the match where I changed my mind and decided I wanted him to stay as he was the best man to rebuild in the Championship. I remember Hull missed a sitter first half, and Schwartzer saved a one-on-one in the last few minutes- doesn't bear thinking about how different the last couple of years could have been if they had scored it!
Bossman Blessed It Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 A win would provide us with a bit of space between the bottom three. To be honest, if the Liverpool game is actually built on, we should be a bit too much for them. They will definitely sit deep and wait for us to come after our performance on Monday - a draw isn't a particularly bad result for them. Could be the perfect game for Ulloa or Slimani to get involved and do some damage in the air. On a side note - this is the real test for Shakespeare. Ranieri struggled this season to find a solution when we had more of the ball. Hull are disciplined and defensively rugged under Silva, so he'll need to stick his thinking cap on to solve that issue. Imaginably, the owners will make their decision based largely on this performance.

Grosicki was awesome in the Euros. Really direct.
Phube Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 Call me crazy but I think we should change it up, knowing Hull will probably be organised and stifle our play. Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs/Chilly Mahrez/Gray N'Didi Drinky Albrighton Slimani Vardy To give their back line more than just Vardy and Mahrez to think about.
purpleronnie Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 Unlikely Hull will give us space like Liverpool did. Hull will play like most other's who we've struggled against this season. So I guess it will be a true test on whether Shakespeare has had a positive impact on the team.

norwichfox Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 Hoping for a draw or better, back to my 1-1 predictions Same team as Monday Ulloa or Slimani on for Vardy, Gray and Mahrez to swap (whoever starts it'll be a good impact sub) Would like to see Amartey in, but where could we put him that would make an improvement after our good performance on Monday? Draw will be good, and a win infinitely better.
smr Posted 1 March 2017 Posted 1 March 2017 If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Keep Mahrez on, all he needs is a goal and his confidence will be right back up there with Drinky and Vardy, and with N'Didi and the rest of the players we'll be back. Gray's very effective coming on around the 65 minute mark too. If Mahrez has a poor game on Saturday then I'd think about starting Gray the next PL game.
