Poor TV pundits with sh#te opinions

Recommended Posts

I don't really understand why these ex-player pundits are even allowed to collar so many media football jobs given that I doubt they have any journalistic qualifications.

Presumably it's for their specialist "expertise" but most serve to bring the very term "expertise" into disrepute.

You don't ever see a fan as a pundit. For me it's just football protecting itself and keeping comment in house.

One day there'll be a big investigation into the running of football and not before time. And I hope it includes the collective crucifying of our club with absolutely no justification or damningly defensible evidence I've ever seen.

It's time television got some genuinely independent commentators. You don't have to be a footballer to understand football any more than a somelier to comment on wine or a highways expert to debate the frustrations of traffic chaos.

They're all just shit stirrers trying to cause trouble and unrest. Just watching the Liverpool game and this was the picture just as one of the presenters was saying Leicester fans. Now this guy wearing the Claudio mask either bought 2 half and half scarfs, or was one of the chaps that was outside the ground flogging em. It's all sneaky shit.

No real fan ever buys a half and half scarf a pure give away. This is what $ky and the media whores want to do. If I were the owners I would ban all media from the KP for the rest of the season the backstabbing *****.

their opinions are shít because they are negative, critical, patronising and insulting?

their opinion?

they are paid to give their opinion no matter how factual or rubbish it may be.

if you are offended for more than a few seconds after someone slags us of with their opinion then you have my sympathy.

pundits are supposed to stir sh*t.. that's their role

if you want a nice guy pundit - try Martin tyler

>>Andy Townsend has got better, he's on supersport 3 and has become much more impartial, I can't figure out who he supports anyway

he dpesn't need to support anyone

he's just objective

Ex-player and manager pundits, are the nearest experts we have from withinside the game..

We see from this, their experience, bias and knowledge from top level have no association

Nor relevant understanding neither recognition of what its like, to fight for exsistence in the lower echelons of the PL

or other leagues, or they suffer from amnezia.

Experts they arent, nomore than any football fan on any forum. They have the same mix of competence

and incompetence, inetptitude, or surreal view of the world as all of us.

We also see journalist who give themselves prizes for reaching agreed heights of best use of controversy, conspiracies,

and rhetorical ideas and thoughts, they put out to sell their own media vehicles.Experts they arent!!

One thing we so called clever recipients, should do is , is not to get in such a laver over other people giving out a different

view or opinion than ourselves.

Take this forum, one day we agree with several different posters ideas, then the very next topic, totally disagree with the same posters

on a different subject. That said...

Carragher, Owen, Sutton, Crooks, remain the biggest football prats, we have all have ever heard, even on the odd days they might

come out with something ageeable. Now Merson, is pure entertainment. But thats just my view.

I personally, like Gillette super saturday on Sky, BBC MOTD, or any type of sport-talk programs. They are entertaining..

One of the NBC commentators today made out like Leicester fans were all angry and pissed off when Ranieri left and then made out like they were being fickle for being happy with the team today, completely disregarding that 99% of the fury came from the media and other fans.  Totally fake news.

Would like to add though that driving home today with Cambridge sport on the radio, the 2 guys covering the scores seemed pretty pleased to announce Mahrez's goal, caught me a bit by surprise.

But according to your location profile, no alarms and no surprises.
